Course Curriculum Overview

3

I chose this course as I can go in electrical side and tech side also if I want.i have both options.the curriculum teaches us the some subjects that can be used in our future life like programming, C, Oops,DSA etc and civil basics helped us in knowing the fundamentals of structures and civil. In this curriculum you have to put more of your efforts as it is the same in real life. The improvements can be made in teaching techniques as most of the things proofesors teaches you are not able to understand even if you study with focus but if you study online the same topic it seems easy. Topic should be taught with intrest and passion not for the sake of syllabus completion.some teachers are really good as they give indepth knowledge and motivates us to understand the concepts. Midsems comes really quick as you will be busy in freshers and events and various orientations you won't have time to prepare and endsems comes at a avg pace so you can study in endsems easily.

Internships Opportunities

3

There are many companies that come for internship as internship happens in 3 year of college. The stipends are great as the highest stipend was of 1 lakh rupees recently and lowest was of 25k with a internship percentage of 80% many companies accepts students for various roles in company as software developer, project manager, part of project teams etc.

Placement Experience

2

The placnents of DTU is preety good and as average of 12lpa Is there.from third year there are internships opportunities and from 4 year you can sit In placement rounds.crack interview and get your placement. There are so many companies that visits in Dtu and accepts students for placnents. No of offers are good and almost 75 to 80% students get placments Highest package was 1cr In DTU a long time ago.recently it's of 84 lpa.and average package of DTU is of 12 lpa. My plan is to get a good placement either In electrical sector or tech sector and persue civil services in future.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of dtu is 2,36000 for the first year,246000 for second year ,266000 fir third year and 2,86000 for 4th year.tution fee for respective year is 155000 and 163000,177000 and 1,92000.admisson fess was 95000 inr.the fees is same for all first years. There are multiple scholarship schemes in dtu as merit cum merit scholarship,Dtu scholarship, post matric scholarship, and HDFC,SBI,Dell,Nsp scholarship etc scholarships are there you can avail in Dtu In scholarships from SBI,Dell,HDFC and other banks provides 70% or full refund of tution fees and in Dell or some other scholarship you get laptops also.In dtu scholarship there is an interview you have to give with your parents they'll ask you some questions and based on your income they give 50 or 75% percent scholarship on tution fees In post matric scholarship you get full refund of your fee and in Nsp also you get full refund and hostel charges.

Campus Life

4

There are numerous number of fests in dtu.as you come in college in start there is aarambh that is held in aug or sep.after few weeks when dusherra and diwali are near there is event called sanedo and dandiya nights.aarambh is of 2 days and sanedo and dandiya nights is of 2 days also.after that there is 2nd best fest of DTU YUVAAN the literature fest it is of great size.and many artists and celebs come to perform in it.but The biggest fest there of DTU is engii which occurs in Feb and it Is the biggest fest of Delhi a lot of crowd comes.big artists of big names come to perform in it making the event amazing. There is a very big library and multiple copies of books and easily accessible. There are good infrastructure of classroom and sports grounds, halls etc classrooms have ac and clean rooms and projectors also. There are many sports events and big ground of indoor and outdoor where you can play. There are multiple clubs in dtu as defianz for cars, ecell,IEEE for coding, cosmology for space and research,Art and literature, udipi, step DTU etc.

Admission

I choose this college because in jac Delhi. This is the best college there is.It is better or equal to in comparison to most of nits and iits and 2nd best enginnering college In Delhi and it was convenient for me In travel as it is only 1hr away.has a good placement average, better infrastructure and societies.nore activities to do,better fests and events.I wanted to go to IIT Delhi or roorkee but I think I lacked in my preparation of jee advanced because of that I couldn't go there after it I wanted to come to dtu where I came. You have to qualify jee and after it apply on jac delhi portal for registration after it certain amount of rounds will be conducted and based on your rank and cutoff you will be accepted after that you have to pay the admission fees(in my case it is 95k) and after 1 or 2 week you have to pay the balance fees for the year and then you continue in college.

Faculty

3

There is a good faculty to student ratio as sections are divided based on alphabetical orders so each section is composed of 60 students and some teachers are really approachable and some are not.but as in 1 year I find almost every teacher was approachable.some faculties are very linent and good in conversing and helps students. From the teachers I studied from till now theres no one I really hate in lecture classes and all are super nice except for some days ofc.but lab teachers and assistants are very rude of electrical engineering.our teacher changed very frequently of practical and there was one teacher who came and was very rude to every student and threatend most of the students that he'll not give us marks in practicals for absolutely just asking question and completing our file. There are midsems and endsems as there are 2 semesters in a year each semester has its midsem and endsems and they are easy to moderate most of the students who study can easily score passing marks

Night Life

4

There are many late night good spots in dtu as there is open air theatre(OAT) which looks beautiful at night, there is sports ground, mic mac night cafes and many more. There are multiple cafeterias and cafes on checkpoints. There is seprate gyms fir boys and girls. For 1 year boys you can't outside of college after 12pm and from hostel also.for girls you cannot go outside of hostel and college after 11pm. Campus is really safe to hangaround just being careful about animals as there some snakes are seen and there are so many monkeys.famous site for night is night cafes and oat

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.
