Remarks
I would say that there are many other good colleges in pune for mechanical engineering , as the cut off of this colldge is low so students not willing to compromise on the branch can take admission here without any second thought .
Course Curriculum Overview
Exam structure is as per guidelines of Savitribai Phule Pune Unviersity. In the First abd Second year there are online plus Theory exams both of 50 marks respectively , while in Third and Fourth year there are two theory exams of 30 and 70 marls respectively.
Placement Experience
The job placement opportunities for Mechanical Engineering is quite less compared to other branches. Mostly IT and Computer based company are options for Mechanical student. No the college does not provide any internship.
College Events
There are different days celebrated in college for example Traditional Day , Mis Match day etc .. Sports is even importance too as inter college competitions are held in the college ground. The college also celebrates annual fest .
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure in on par with all other colleges and according to guidelines from University. The fess gradually goes on incresing as you go year by year. If you request the college dean or principal then you can pay the fees in installments
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes the college provides scholarship to economically backward class according to guidelines by the university. While the college is very co operative in gaining educational loan from the respective bank
Campus Life
The instructure of college us better then other colleges in pune as it is not a very old college. There are basketball , Tennis , Cricket as well as a football ground. The college has gym and swimming pool too. The labs are fine with working instruments
Hostel Facilities
No as the Hostel facility is wuite expensive then staying outside on rent or in a paying guest. The hostel facilty is good but not great compared to the price. Food is not provided by hostel on sundays which create a problem for students.
Alumni/Alumna
No the Alumni networkbis not very strong in the college but i have many experience where seniors have helped a lot in our academics. The Alumni does not gather for any Re union or any other activity .
Faculty
There is mixture of some experience professors and some new teachers which are friendly and helpfull. Many teachers do not know to speak in English properly so they use either Marathi or Hindi as a way to communicate.
