PDPU is vey good for world class studies and knowledge. Labs are very good. My college provide so much job opportunities. Nearly 11 students got job in ONGC woth package of 19 lac. Other companies are also provides good packages.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is very good . It is not very lengthy . It is very good when it comes to industrial demand. There is every aspect covered of petroleum engineering and geology is very good than any other Indian petroleum engineering colleges.for exam we have here two exam through out the semester. Mid sem and end semester.mid sem is of 50 marks and end semester is of 100 marks. Both exam has weightage of 50%. Another 25 marks is of internal assessment.
Placement Experience
Placements are very good for petroleum branch. It is also good for other branches but not as petroleum. This year bearly 80 students got job out of 150 students. My college provide industrial internship at the end of 2nd year. It also provide rural internship at the end of 1st year. My experience is very good here. You can get half of the fees back if you are among top 7 students of your branch at the end of 1st year and you will get every year this benefit.
College Events
My college celebrate many events. First comes TEASERACT at october . It is held by school of technology. It is very good for extra curricular activities. The comes SPE PDPU fest and FIPI PDPU fest. At the end , in april FLARE the annual fest of PDPU comes.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is very simple although iylt is expensive. But it is very good college so we should afford it. In present year , fee is 1,13,500 each semester. It is big amount but it is feasible. If you want good college and facilities, you have to give big fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
My college provide scholarship. First for top 7 students of ACPC and first 7 seven students who got admission through JEE MAIN. Also for other scholarship, you have to be in top 7 students of your branch then you will get half fees back.
Campus Life
College is very good for extra curricular activities. PDPU provides world class labs. PDPU organise sports event called PETRO CUP every year in February. There are so many clubs in PDPU which organise various events on singing,dance, drama etc.
Alumni/Alumna
PDPU has so strong alumni network. PDPU organise alumni meets two times a year. Although it is open every day in online. Senior students are very helpful for guidance. They helps us in various manner. Also in project and how to apply for internships.
Faculty
My college has very good faculties. Most of them have got Ph.d. They always are ready to help the students. They also gave us idea about how industry requirements are there and what we will do when we will be there. They also helps in our projects and give guidance for internships. I am writing a review paper with help of my faculty.
