Likes

Things i liked is the opportunities that are available once i complete my studies
There is very less competition in our class environment so it is an ideal place to study peacefully
The company of friends that i got and the lecturers are really helpfull to us

Dislikes

The college mangaement is at its worst by not giving us opportunities and focusing only on snatching money from us
For the fees i paid this college is totally worthless.. no patients in hospital its a huge scam college including the hospital
I dont wanna ruin anyone elses degree and hardwork soo dont join this college you will be living your nightmare

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is pure nonsense in srinivas self study is the only option but the bad thing is dat there are no books available in college library for studies i can find more books on my 4 year old cousins shelf than in srinivas library no other activities are hosted by college

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 260000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Currently i am in my 5th sem 3 rd year the total fees i paid till date 810000 260000 included with tution fees lab fees and development fees in my first year excluding admission fees of 30000 260000 in my second year 260000 in my third year I didnt receive any scholarship in my first year I did revieve a scholarship amount of 4000 in second year

Campus Life

There is no college life once you join srinivas because it is situated far away from city its not even a proper town and is filled with malayali people being a localite i find srinivas college life to be boring but i have good life with my frnds and family in hometown we go to clubs hangout experience new things meet new people understand how things work

Admission

I didnt choose this college it was my last option orelse i had to drop a year i had tried for kmc but the seats were already full saddest part of my life and when i came for admission they scammed me saying we have top labs etc the course started two months late from the given date overall very bad overrated college by brochers who spoil the life of growing buds

Faculty

Faculty of our college is filled with young aspired lecturers soo there is no old school teaching it is the lecturers only that are helpful from overall college management and office staff are really worst money mongers especially SRINIVAS RAO AND FLY

Night Life

No night life only nearest destination is NITK beach where the police always patrol soo everyone stays in after 11:00 pm the only gaming place is time out turf where me and my friends go to play football

Placement Experience:

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Placement Experience:

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

We have mandatory internship period after 2 years of teaching, and they provide internship and placement support. Different Companies come and take test and hire the eligible candidates. Regarding placement package, since it's just been 1 year of SST there cannot be said anything about it. But Scaler the parent Company of SST has average package of 22lakhs and highest package of 1.04cr.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

Why you should join SST

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it was very curriculum heavy meaning the cirriculum was very good . the girls to boys ratio here is 1 : 8 . but this year only 200 peopel were selected out of 200. they are industry tech experts. they are passable

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to go into it field. The faculty is good here nothing to improve about that and the student ratio is 5:3. Qualification is good and the teaching method like some lectures is good. Term exams will be after 6 months from starting of sem and it's not as difficult as pu or 10th exams we can easily pass them.
