- cvs campus is full of creative students,
- faculty was good and quite supportive, many professor write their own books
- college societies helps in our personal and professional growth, i learned lot from my college societies.
Dislikes
- i things i don't like is campus infra, new building is quit good and decent but old building is so
- percentage of campus placement is low only some students get placements.
- seminar hall, liabrary, canteen are so small it need to be improved
Course Curriculum Overview
as i'm in b.com hons course i have to study 7 subjects in every semester 3 are core subjects 1 subject is general elective and 3 are AEC,SEC and VAC. core and general elective is always relevant to our cousre but the AEC SEC and VAC is irrelevace this is no use in our life also these subjects feel like a burden. All odd semesters exam done in dec and jan. and even semester exams are held in may and june. if i talk about difficulty level b.com hons exam level is high as compared to b.com prog exam.
Placement Experience
college is placement is not good in cvs only few people get placement avg placement is 6-7 lakh. mostly student prefer off campus placement. from sem 5, students can apply for placement only 30-50% student get placement. after graduation i'll go for post gradution.
Fees and Financial Aid
in my first year i paid 13,010 and in my second year i paid 13095. college fee for all the students are same it does not matter he/she belong to st or sc or obc. yes our college provide scholarship for low income group of students. this scholarship was for lower than 500000 income. apart from college our delhi university also provide scholarships.
Campus Life
my overall experience is good,but for me campus life is not good everyone busy in their own stuff. their are many festival happed in college like diwali mela, our annual fest, college society events and amny more. book are easily available in liabrary but liabrarian is rude.
Admission
i chose this college because it is government college second thing is it comes under delhi university. i also apply for devi ahiliya college indore, but it was costly as compared to cvs college.admission process was so easy all the process done through online. i got this college through cuet this college is in my 18 number in my prefrece list i want go north campus but due to my cuet score.
Faculty
in this college some faculty is so supportive they even support in students personal life as well as professional life. on the other hand some faculty member is quite rude. the students and faculty ratio is 1:60 also our college provide mentor to every students. exam system and marking schemes has been done according to uiversity of delhi. B.com hons exam are moderate level.
Night Life
there is no nightlife in cvs campus, our favourite hangout spot is authority( a place near college) there is open gym in backside area, cafeteria is quite small but price and food are good, girls commom room is also there which is decent and clean (as per female friends), boys commom room is also avilabe, there is no hostel facility in our college. in winters our playground is favourite spot for everyone, also our college has seprate building for cultural activity life dacie art music drama etc.
