Very good college and very studious atmosphere is maintained in the college all Faculty members are well qualified and are very caring in Nature the college is located in a moderately developed Town Dharwad and provides excellent opportunities for student

Karnataka State CET, I got a decent ranking and chose this college as it is known one of the best Engineering Colleges in Karnataka.

I studied Civil Engineering in the College and it was a very good learning experience the Curriculum was one of the best in India as it was designed by Karnataka University, which is a very prestegious University. The Academics and coverage of the subject was overwhelming and overall subject knowledge was covered. Various Electives were available, students are free to select any elective subjects, all subjects are covered by professional/ well qualified Lecturers.

No stipend offered by the college during my time of study, however students can check with the college administration if they have launched any such schemes in the recent past.

Placement opportunity is good and many wellknown companies visit the college. A well developed placement cell is available in the college the College Administration also is very powerful and a very wellknown name in the Education sector.

Many cultural events are conducted like Collge Day fest, Spickmackay, etc. Dharwad is a culturally rich city with many famous personalities born in the city the college Administration also encourages such eents.

As per the Karnataka State Government rules as I studied more than 15 years before I am not sure about the present fee structure. Since fees structure is maintained by Karnataka Technical Education Board, it should be uniform across all colleges in Karnataka.

I am not aware of the same students may approach the college administration.

Campus life is excellent. SDM College campus is one of th best amoungst all Engineering Colleges in India. Designed by wellknown architect Mr. Gujral, it is by far the best as compared to many other Engineering colleges.

Hostel facility is quite good and separate 2 boys hostel and 1 girls hostel is available hostel facilities and food served are very good.

Very good alumni network is available, even college helps encourages students to have alumni group many alumni events are also being organised regularly.

Semesterwise exams are conducted every month internal examination are also being conducted, about 4 to 5 internal exams every semester.

Really caring teachers/ lecturers and very good atmosphere in the college well Qualified faculty is available for teaching among all streams of engineering.
