- The campus is really big, greeny and beautiful. If your are looking for an amazing campus environment then it is a good go for you.
- University really provides various opportunities to their students by organinzing various hackathons, cultural activities, concerts, etc time by time.
- the campus life is really very amazing. u can even encounter various movies shooting in the campus time to time.
Dislikes
- The teaching staff is very bad. The university doesn't check their qualification and allot any subject to any teacher without their prior knowledge in that field.
- The intake in CSE is so large that in 2020 the university had taken about 15 thousand student in CSE alone. The university only cares about money, nothing else matters for them.
- The placement record is totally scam. In 3rd year the college will seggregate students into 2 batches, TPP or Non-TPP. In order to sit in placement, one needs to join TPP batch by paying extra fees which they doesn't mention during admission,
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum: out of 5 stars, i would like to give 3 stars, because the syllabus they added doesn't have proper knowledge. Talking about engineering, one needs to focus on their practical skills but the college only focuses on theoritical knowledge. I know many students who doesn't even know how to print "Hello World!" till their graduation. but the college doesn't seems to be bothered about this, they just wants money that's it. the exam periods are organized 3 times during a semester, each in every 2 months.
Fees and Financial Aid
In 2020, the yearly academic fees was around 1,64,000 rupees i.e, 82,000/- per semester (including 2000 rupees examination fees per semester). However, the academics fee increases every year for every new batch. Morever, the university also provides various scholarships based upon their own entrace test and on merit based. Although, in order to avail the scholarship, one needs to maintain atleast 7.5 CGPA in every semester.
Campus Life
the campus life was awesome. Even in almost every month the college oraganizes concert nights in the campus, inviting several bollywood celebrities or singers (including, honey singh, Akshay kumar, Milkrit aulakh, etc.). Talking about the academics, the college is same as every other private institution. the social life is also awesome, even one can easy get along with others (iykyk) in CU. however, there are also several clubs in the college, which u can join based upon your interest. In addition, there is also a sports complex which organizes several national level activities in the college and also allows students to participate in it.
Admission
i opted CU, only because of its placement records. They claimed so high packages and 100% placement which is totally scam. I choosed CSE because i had a keen interest in Computers and thier applications. talking about their admission process, then there are 2 ways to take admission. Likewise every private college u can directly take admission by reaching out the admission block or u can apply for their own entrance test which can also helps in availing scholarship if performed well. talking about the eligibility, the college doesn't give a damn about someones qualification. As long as u have money, or able to pay their fees you are welcomed here.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is around 1:60. however the faculty is very supportive and friendly. Some knowledgable faculty can even guide you during placements or hackathons. On the other hand, their are also some faculties who doesn't have any knowledge about the subject. They just come in the class and read the PPT provided by the administration about the subject. Talking about the exam pattern, there are 3 exam period in a semester, i.e., (MST-1, MST2 and END sem). MST's are very easy while during End sem u have to prepare notes well provided during lectures. During End sem, some students might even get Back in some subjects. The Exam questions are totally from the lectures provided during academics.
Night Life
there are several cafeterias in the campus itself like FR(food republic), there are many famous franchised outlets like Taste of Italy, Dominos, Fassos, etc. Also, talking about hostels, there are no such restriction on IN-OUt timing. In addition, if u don't like mess food, then there is cafteria in every hostel wing, in which u can eat food by paying extra. "Zayka restuarant" below NC-4 or 5 provides very tasty food, which one should must try. there is also library in every block of the college. Famous hangout place of CU is FR, sukhna hostel, south campus, pentagon or garden opposite B1 Block. if u are a person looking for opposite gender, then u must try to go in the garden opposite to B! block after collage hours.
