Course Curriculum Overview

4

Talking about the curriculum after getting enrolled in this course I got to know about different new courses which are being taught in this course and they are very interesting and every subject has its specialised teacher who is available to teach and to help you. This will help me to understand the science behind the flying of and aircraft in a real life . I don't think that this course needs any improvement but the one thing I suggest is that more communication between my department and Jamia college administration there is a small gap between this. We have exam after every 2 month and they are from moderate to high level.

Placement Experience

3

From 4 sem student eligible for the internship . Many companies come for the placement like samsung , indigo , Google and many more . And student also get a very high package . As this is a central university every company want to get into it and get the student from Jamia Their is a small no. Of student getting placed due to placement cell is not good but those got place a very high package. My plans after degree is I ll try to get placed in indigo airlines as a Aircraft maintenance engineer.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees is 160000 now but when I take admission it is 130000 . As it is self financed it has very high fees . I don't think so that it would increase in future . Tution fee is approx 150000 and rest other fees is in 10000. My every batch mate has same fees. Their are many scholarship available specially for st and sc students

Campus Life

5

Except the monthly fest Jamia college has everything a very good environment biggest library of Asia as well as it also has digital library also talking about sports Jamia has a dedicated sports complex in which Jamia student can play even the ground is very large , ranji trophy match is also being played on it . Jamia student run many social groups and many fundraising events.

Admission

First of all I have only opted for Jamia because my sister is already enrolled in it and I know that it is a central university and the campus is very beautiful and also offers approx 150 courses and the culture is very nice. I didn't get any rejection I applied for the this course and got selected. Jamia conduct its own entrence exam I have clear that , after exam they will publish a lish of selected candidates and they also mention the date and procedure for admission Talking about cutoff it is easy to clear exam as Muslim student because this is a Muslim college and has reservation for Muslim student , but still it is not very hard to clear the exam as a non muslim student .

Faculty

5

The faculty to student ratio is proper every subject has a specialised teacher . The most favourite teache is lalit chawala he is very experienced and the teaching style is very nice .and I don't think so that I dislike any teacher every teache is good , they have a proper knowledge of its subject. In our course we have a lot of exams first for the semester exam other than this we also have the modules exam as well as we have license exam also . The semester exam level is moderate but other two exam are very tough.

Interview Experience

5

Yes their is an interview session in which ask some questions Admission criteria is very simple they publish a list in which every thing is written you can get that list from their website Follow all the instructions and go for admission on desired date.

Night Life

5

As it is a central university it has approx 20000 students studying in it so there are many cafes gym and everything available for the Jamia students . Talking about nightlife it has a very nice nightlife student can chill together many cafes and sitting points are open in the night and all the locality near Jamia is safe for student .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.
