Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this college because it was providing pgdm , and now days pgdm is trending course in market, and this course is upgraded with current market trends in job market, exams are not much difficult mostly on the basis of case studies.

Class Size: 400Course Fees: INR 800000 per year

Internships Opportunities

College provide intership in every sector finance, IT ,edtech ,FMCG . companies like Amul dabur Came for internship drive . most roles were sales roles like sales and marketing intern, Business development role.

Placement Experience

From 3rd sem we can sit for the placements, Companies like banks Federal, icici , axis, bandhan, SBI visit for placements. in fmcg dabur, amul has came. other mnc like asian paints, mrf , zomato, Deloitte, mazzere, Kubota has came . highest package last year was 14 lpa avg was 6 lpa. around 80 percent get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees for the 1st year was 400000 rs and for second was 400000, and you have to pay it in few installments, for the next batch fees has increased, and i am not eligible for any kind of scholarship .

Campus Life

College firsy do induction in june which last for one month,then yuva sports even happens in October, Ganesh utsav and janamashtami celebrates in their days. College have digital plus books library, classroom are well equipped with AC , fans Digital boards, many clubs are there like social club, cultural club, rotary club

Admission

Before applying this college i have applied t9 Balaji institute pune, but I got rejected so this one was my second choice, because it has good reputation and name and i talk with few senior and I got positive response from them so i decided to get into this for admission we must have 55 plus in graduation atleast give one entrance exam cat cet xat mat. then they take one interview for admission. this was the process

Faculty

College have good facilities having industrial experience and deep domain knowledge, exams are based on semesters, in between semester there is mid term exams, each course is for 100 marks , including mid term

Interview Experience

I didn't faced any gd but i faced interview took by marketing head of college he ask about introduction basic about family background, and few questions related to agriculture field and that domain very basic interview it was. criteria is 55 plus in graduation any entrance test should be given.

Night Life

gym is open till 8 pm in evening, college is situated on Mumbai Bangalore highway so night life is good, library opens till 9 pm, I don't know about hostel timings because i m from pg, and many food chopatis are there near by college

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. I have applied for mima institute and lotus business school. Mima has completed its intake thus I didn't get admission there. Comparing LBS with DY Patil i thought DY Patil is pretty much better is infrastructure staff and placement record. I didn't get rejection from other colleges but the sits are not available thus I didn't get admission there.
