Likes

Quality of infrastructure is very great here. The management has provided us with many facilities, lining from acs in the class to smartclass, compyter labs, and other labs for the students of other courses. We also get many co-curriculur activities.

Dislikes

The rules in our college are toooo strict at times, which makes it more like a school than a college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course is very relevant to what we need to learn. We have been given books related to the courses that have been recommended by the concerned faculty themselves. They are mostly very useful to understand the concepts.

Placement Experience

There are placements in iur college About 60 percent of students got placed last year with an average package of 6lpa The least package was 3lpa The highest package was 10lpa around The college has been continuously trying to keep getting more and more companies to come to our campus for placements

Fees and Financial Aid

Year-wise fee for the course is ?2,30,000. This amount includes the tution fee as well We gave an extra amount of admission fee durung admission. Scholarships are provided for promissing students, and for sc, st, obc

Campus Life

There are a gazillion clubs in the college but i being a less social person don't know that much about most of them I'm in a few technical clubs, nerdy ones I'm also in a dance and singing club Our college provides gud opportunities all the time

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility incase of infrastructure is great but the people incharge are not that great They are very rude at times And don't try helping mostly They'll make you pay fine for literally everything

Admission

I chose this college as it is a jesuit college and jesuit institutions are known for there discipline and good quality of education. This college was also recommended by one of my elder cousins who's friend has graduated from this college.

Faculty

The faculty in iur branch is very cooperative and give there best to make us understand and learn our concepts. They thrive to make us not just literate, but also educated. We have 2 exams per semester.

Night Life

We have curfew at 10 p.m. Before that we can roam in the college campus We aren't really allowed to leave our rooms after 10 but we mostly don't follow that rule that strictly It's ok till we are not disturbing other people

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

Xim university review

I chose this college because of the college life and curriculum. Campus life is pretty good here, you will be having many fests throughout the year. The student to teacher ratio is pretty good which allows faculty to monitor every student closely I did apply to other colleges and even got selected but choose this university.
