There are less negetive sign in my college...There are lots of positive marks in my college.. College always teach us to be deceplined and behave like a professional...They teach all lesson..Even they offered to get a job for faculty in my college after completing degree...

Pharmacy is a huge field... Student can choose this subject for their carrier purpose...It's all about medicine...A pharmacy student can give medicine to the patient..A pharmacy stident discover a new drug..

Placement Experience

College provide us very good placements, many national international pharmaceutical company are come for recruitment drive... 90%above student are placed in this company... College offered us in best pharmaceutical industry for our internship..

College Events

College celebrate some important Holiday... Celebrate independence day, college foundation day Etc...College organised orientation programme for new coming student., As well as fresher's programme...Also organised 3days technical festival...2days international seminars

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes fee structure are feasible..But some student can't afford this fee...So they go for student loan...But compare to the other pharmacy private college my college offered much lower fee...I have no problem in this fee structure

Fees and Financial Aid

College gave us 50% schoolership of total fees for poor students...But only 5 student get this chance...But main thing college can't offered loan to the students...For this student go for loan in private bank which is not good...

Campus Life

The labs are too much good... College notice for students safety in labs.. College have a play ground where we play football. Cricket etc..1 coach trained us for fitness.. College organised sports event where indoor and outdoor games are played... student as well as faculty participate in this sports event..

Hostel Facilities

Hostel are not so good...The food which they gave us are not good quality..This good are tasteless...The entire building are not modified..But the water are too good..They gave us filtered water...But the atmosphere of the hostel are good...They gave us iron bed 1 desk..

Seniors are really good..They always help us in every purpose..They guide us as a elder brother..Alumni are also good...They help us to get a better job... Otherwise they help in another purposes.. College organised a party for alumni meet... Where we meet out alumni

Admission

I got admitted in this college by west bengal joint entrance examination...In this exam i ranked and by 3rd councilling i got admission in this college...The main two subject is physics and chemistry..

Faculty

Faculty are really good...They are always help us to short out problems..They teach us a different way because of u can easily understand the lesson...They don't violent for the student...Always they guide us as a parents..We are really thank ful to them..

Placement Experience:

Placement are not so good but I can confirm you that if you are good in studies then you will have a min package of 50LPA .Every pharma companies in india or out india contains our alumnis as well as you will get a polite and respectful behaviour in every company after knowing you r passed out from Iopj .

This is the oldest Pharmacy college in India

Remarks:

The college is a good college it is situated beside the district hospital and there is morgue beside it. So students will se many dead bodies been taken. This may be problem for weak heart students. But I thing for a pharmacists he/she should be able to see dead bodies.

Institute of Pharmacy, Jalpaiguri is the 1st Pharmacy college in Asia. This is the only one government college in West Bengal. Labs infrastructure is very poor. 100% Placement are done. Our college is very good Pharmacy college in India.
