- Campus is really big and nice and has a really good infrastructure.
- Here you get a change to create your own time table and select faculties according to your choice
- The gender ratio here is really good compared to other engineering colleges. The gender ration would be about 2 girls per 3 Boys
Dislikes
- The campus is not yet fully accessible as construction work is going on everywhere
- This college lies in outskirts and is about 70 km away from the main city
- The hostel rules are kind of strict here
Course Curriculum Overview
According to 2024 the course structure is really up to date and relevant. The courses are undoubtedly good and latest. There are 2 kinds of exam in a semester, mid terms and end terms out of which mid terms are of 50 whime end terms are of 100
Internships Opportunities
Many companies give internships offers to the college students and the higest stipend during the internship was 1 lakh per month for a student which was offered by Apple. Many more companies also gice internship offers
Placement Experience
Many companies are visiting the college to give placements and from 3rd year onwards students are eligible to sit for placemnts and apply for jobs in various companies. The average package is around 7.5 lakhs and the higest was around 54 lakh
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual tution fees at VIT bhopal is 200000 per year for category 1 rank holders and the hostel fees which includes accommodation and mess is about 160000 for a year. This sums up to 360000 a year making the total amount for 4 years to 1440000. There are no such scholarships but rank holders under 10000 rank get a fee vaiver. The tution fees has not increased in past few years.
Campus Life
The overall life in college is really good, here you get to participate in many events like technical events regional events and many more. You can join many teams, clubs or groups if interested. Sports facilities are not that good due to constructions and all. You can eveb access various books and journals from the library
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are decent and there is no such issue in living in hostels. The food is also good and the menu is even changed on regular basis. The only thing with the mess is about the food limit. Like you cant take some specific items 2nd time.
Admission
I had applied to several colleges like PEC, LPU, etc. and did not choose the above colleges due to lack of facilities like lab and infrastructure. The exams accepted in VIT is VITEEE only. Based on rank you get to choose the campus and course in online counse
Faculty
You get to select the faculties on your own and the time slots also during the course registration. Most of the faculties are good here but not all of them, always make sure to take the faculty after asking from seniors or mates. Stay away from Black listed teachers and they tend to fail most of the class, sometimes making the class average in single digits. Else mostly the teacers are good and need nkt to worry about rest of the teachers
Night Life
There is no such thing as night life in VIT, students are requested to go in there hostels in the evening. For boys the time is around 8:30 to 9 pm. For girls its 7:30 to 8:00'o clock in the evening.
