GEC Gandhinagar : The Journey of 4 Years

Course curriculum is old, No practical learning. You are taught old softwares and old processors that don't even exist. 8085,8056 Thos discovrred in 19s are taught today. Today we are growing in the tech but still we are learning the basuc things. If you know how to run the rocket try to make it possible to reach it to the moon not try to rebuild the rocket again with the basic. You must know basics but only relying on basic things will not help. In real life this syllabus will not even mean.

Campus placement in our college are like average average. This year I listened someone placed with 1 LPA. Wth where this seniors are going idk. But yeah even a begginer can earn more than this and even chai wala earns more. Avg package are 3-5 LPA. Good as Govt college. Good companies visit you must have skills to crack the interview.

Fees Per Sem is Around 1800Rs.(Appx) Yearly 4000Rs. approx Apart from this Exam Fees Each Subject 125Rs. +300Rs. Per Sem With Exams - 3-4k Per Year with Exams - 7-8k You can get scholarship also if your family income is low. Scholarships forms are provided you have to fill them and you can easily get the scholarship.

Campus life is like nothing. No one comes to college. No senior Junior Interaction. Most of the people are from Gujarat and many of them even don't want to make bonds or talk. They remain in their group only. No one in the class is interested in hackathon etc. If you are coming for the clubs coding etc thing don't come please. You are only going to waste your precious time. However I build a strong team in the college for hackathons and Startup. But yeah the people with whom you stay makes the decision worthy.

I choose this college because my rank for Gujcet was low. Different colleges like LD have good Infrastructure and Labs here the labs are like kabadkhana. Eligilibity for this college is decent Rank in Gujcet.

Most of the faculty are good. Few factulty are not good. They only rely on attendace things. One faculty is there who use chatgpt and then taught us . He don't know how to code and thinks to taught us then force us for the attendance. Most kf the faculty is chill. Even the principal mam are chill, supportive. Best Faculty are the Proffesors of PPS and Python. I love the subject also the faculties are supportivr and great if you want to code learn and grow.

Night life doesn't exist. Girls Hostel close at 8 Boys Hostel close at 10 No Gym is here. Canteen is there but it is shitty. Library is Good but you can't go after 5 PM. Canteen mostly 6-7 PM max. Outside the college you can go to the sector 28 Garden(Couple wala garden) . It's better to stay at home or hostel then sector 28 garden. Good Places are sector 1 lake garden, akshardham, Sargasan, Kudasan, Indroda Park, Adalaj Stepwell, Dholeshwar Mahadev Mandir, sant sarovar dam and Ahmedabad If you want to enjoy more.
