The fee structure that we pay yearly. Next the yearly exams as i am a chartered accountant student and the exam dates do not clash the dates of ca exams. Next pro for my college is that there isnt a lot of pressure for us the whole year

The assignment status doesn’t update enough early for us to know
We have submitted the assignments but it doesnt show till the next year then i had to submit again

Like i chose this course just because of my charted accountant exams and also i am a commerce student and also i wanted dummy and found this college to be good oht of others because it doesnt clash with the exams dates and this college has been preferred to me by many

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees or the annual fees that i pay for the college is ?15000 per year excluding the exam fees. The exam fees that we pay for yearly examination is ?200/ per subject i.e ?1600 for one year. Currently i am in third year and have cleared all the exams with flying colours. My batchmates are too from my stream itself.

Campus Life

We are dummy students so we have never seen the campus except when we go to give exams. The campus is good and the teachers too are really coorporative as to assignment and exam purposes. They look after each and every student well

Admission

I preferred this college because the dates of exams doesnt clash with my charted accountant exam dates and doesnt ghve enough pressure on chile to focus only on the graduation side. It has been preferred to me bh many and even my own teacher

Faculty

The faculty is quite good of my college. Like we have our exam center in my region itself and city itself and when i faced the problem they immediately responded. But the response over calls and mails are not as good and immediate

Night Life

Again being a dummy student i have never experienced the college life. Whereas i wish to experience so but i cant as i dont have any option because of my chartwd accountant exams and i have to fulfill my that dream

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

"Convenient and recognised distance learning"

All about IGNOU

I applied only to this college because of its flexibility ( you can choose your exam centre anywhere in India), affordability and degree recognition, not because it was my dream college. I didn't applied to any other college. The eligibility for admission is based on minimun academic qualification like 10+2 for UG programs. Only some professional programs may have entrance exam but for general UG/PG none are needed. no competitive cut offs admission is fully online and transparent with minimal paperwork....Read More
