Likes

Some teachers are helpful and help in solving douts
Sphurita club is active in skill development
They will give you benefit of taking part in multiple events

Dislikes

Infrastructure is very bad not a proper space or ground
Basketball court is in very bad shapes but not being repaired
Restriction are meny and features are almost none

Course Curriculum Overview

In this college there is multiple options in BTech such as cse , cse aiml , cse ds but all the stream gets the same kind of knowledge and had to study same subject there is no knowledge according to stream

Campus placement is nice different companies always came for hiring to the college if you want to go in the field of marketing you will get the package of 12+ lpa but if you go for cse first 6+ lpa will be overall package it goes higher as well as lower too

Per year tution fees is 120000 And hostel fees is -80000 Total per year fees is 200000 Total fees of btech cource without hostel is 500000 And it allows drcc as a education loan for fees payment if someone is unable to pay

Campus Life

My overall experience in this college is nice I am a basketball player and a captain of the college team so I take part and win in meny matches and I am a member of sphurita club so I got an opportunity to exicute multiple events in college for the betterment of the students

Admission

When I was searching for college my friend suggested me about this college, because I will get the degree afeleated by odisha government BPUT and the fees structure is very low for btech cse branch compared to other colleges

Faculty

I am a student of BPUT so my exams elwere taken according to BPUT shedule but not it is autonomous so exam are done according to college, exams are not hard almost every one pases in exam, if someone gets back it will be clear in recheck

Night Life

Night life according to here in my college is girl hostel is close after 9 pm and boys hostel is close after 10 pm gym is close after 7pm in night and in morning it opens at 7 am and close at 9 am and a small shop called coffee house is also here

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

Value For money college

My decision really came down to ROI and getting the CSE branch specifically. I tried for top government colleges like OUTR and VSSUT, but my JEE rank wasn't high enough for Computer Science there. I actually got Electrical at C.V. Raman, but I was determined to study CS, and private universities like KIIT were way out of my budget. It eventually came down to GEC vs. GITA. I picked GEC because the fees were slightly lower and the hostels are much better since we get attached washrooms. The admission process was super smooth; I applied through OJEE counseling based on my JEE Main rank, and once the seat was allotted, I just went to campus for document verification. They also have management seats if your rank is lower, so getting in isn't too stressful....Read More

GEC- The Mnemosynes Way

Well to start I gave my JEEMAINS 2021 exam but unfortunately at the same time on MAy 4th MY died and I got off track for about 5 months and when I again got myself back anyhoe then I got the opportunity to go for GEC and as far I have gathered info and seen through my eyes the fees with the reutn of knowledge we got its far more better than many colleges.
