Dislikes
- Our attendance policy is very strict compare to other colleges.
- There's biasedness towards non Karnataka in the college.
- Non flexible curriculum . Every month we have to give internal exams which gives us very less time to learn skills.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our curriculum has been improved from last 3-4 years. I have to say it is made according to today's market. But still some improvement needs to be done in course like induction of topics like Artificial intelligence should be made.
Fees and Financial Aid
IN our college the fees structure for Karnataka students and non Karnataka students are different. I am from non Karnataka background. My total fees for the year was Rs 3,25,610 which includes tution fees, academic fee and softskills fees. The fees for Karnataka students is only about 1 lakh.
Campus Life
My experience with the college by now has been very nice. I loved it's vibrant campus. Theirs big ground where we play football in evening. We have cultural fest called Vibration which happens in our college. There are lots of clubs in the college which helps us in overall development. Big library is their where we issue book at any time. Last month we had inter department sports fest . I was in the football team of my department. Yes there's a social group in our college called mudita which do various good works like going to orphanage , distributing foods etc.Some of my friends are in mudita.
Admission
I have applied for comedk exam. This college comes under top 5 in comedk and is very reputable in Bangalore. In terms of infrastructure and campus size it is better than all the colleges of comed k. My college is considere best for the course I have opted in Bangalore. The admission process is simple. There are three ways you can get through this college. Either by writing comedk or kcet exam or through the management quota. Kcet is for only Karnataka students. I am through comedk and my rank was 23451.
Faculty
The faculties member in the college are very experienced and knowledgeable. They are always ready to help the students. Our course curriculum is not flexible. Every month we have to give internals exams . Then after lab test and just after that semester exams will come. Because of which students in the college has to deal with lot of pressure.
Night Life
Bangalore is known for its nightlife . It's fabulous. We take long bike rides on the roads of Bangalore. Big malls , cafe , restaurants everything is open all night. Entry after 9:30 is not allowed in college campus. The famous hangout place inside the college is the fountain infront of NRI hostel. The famous hangout place outside the college is paradise cafeteria for our college students. Yes locality is totally safe to roam around at night.
Other Applied Colleges
Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
Dayananda Sagar was better college than Delhi University in terms of exposure and placement.
