Remarks
College is good but location is poor and approx 15 km from the city Berhampur, there are alot of restrications in the college and climit is too horrible. If you are from odisha then come but if you are outsider then please do not cone and foor is also not good.
Course Curriculum Overview
course curriculum is as per BPUT schedule and there are 8 sem total and in 1 sem you have to give 4 assingment,4 quiz ,1 surprise and 2 internal along with 1 semester exam at last and 2 class of each per week of 100 min.
Placement Experience
Placement in this college is good. There are many students who got placed in good companies, but their percentage is very low. The placements here is only good for the non-core branches. Only the non-core companies visit this campus. The highest salary offered is five to six lacks. The lowest salary is one to two lacks, and the average is in between three to four lacks. Many good companies also visited this campus like Wipro and Infosys. They also offer genuine roles as freshers. Many students also get internships from this college. I have no idea as to what is the highest, the lowest and the average stipend here, but they would get a genuine one. There is a placement cell where students prepare for their interviews during placements.
College Events
Events held in our college is Waves and Sankalp, but the contribution from the college side is very less. The campus crowd is average, and the connectivity here is also very poor. The campus surroundings are one of the best things here which I like the most in this college. It is also surrounded by the natural beauty that I like the most. Also, scholarships are provided here, but not for the meritorious student. The students here are also the locals. Also, the scholarship providing criteria is very bad. The extracurricular activities here is also good. Many students take part in the extracurricular activities here and also appear in the events of the other colleges.
Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees and Financial Aid
There are scholaRship like Book grant ,Economic Hardship,Meghawriti etc.First two for all and your parental income is less than Rs 1,00,000. but last one is only for odiya students and there are many more scholarship that will be provided by each state you have to apply from college.
Campus Life
There are many extracurricular activity like jorbing , wall climbing, cricket, basket ball and many more. There are all lab which is necesaary for overall development and some more Advance lab is there in TIFAC bulding.
Hostel Facilities
if we opt hostel then we have to pay Rs 20000 annualy including all facility and Rs 3200 per month as a mess fee which is constant and only in case of medical and genuine reason under the sign of Hostel superintendent you mesh fee will be reduced and in case if you are absent for 10 days.
Alumni/Alumna
There is a alumni cell in the NIST and also seniors have contact with juniors and they are very helpful in guiding us and giving us refrence and show a path that will help in future. They guide us in better way in how to make project and what to do as they have experience.
Admission
Firstly i appeared in JEE Main exam after the rank was declared and we fill the form of Odisha JEE according to our JEE Main marks then we have to opt for the colleges and branch and after some time we are alloted with the colleges and branches after that we have to go for document verification and then after sometime you haveto go to college website for further carification.
Faculty
Teachers here are helpful. They are also qualified and knowledgeable, but their teaching quality is not good. They are unable to understand the students in a proper manner, but there are also very good teachers who are very good in their specified subjects. The teaching methods here generally includes a whiteboard, but they also use the projectors for an efficient study. Also, students to faculty ratio are good, and there is no such industrial exposure here. There is only the theoretical knowledge for the board exams and very less practical knowledge. The curriculum here is not up to the mark, but it should be improved so that the students here can focus more on the practical rather than the theoretical knowledge.
