Course Curriculum Overview
VIT Bhopal's curriculam is updated and follows lkatest teaching methodology like caltec and regular industry visits it also prepares us fo real-world applications gor further academic pursuits. Classes are based on FFCS system in which we can design our own time table and take our preferred teachers on an average there are 15 lectures per week. The timing of classes should be reduced to 1 hour from 1.5 hours.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are offered from 3rd year for roles like trainee engineer,intern developer and analysts in company like paypal, tcs, infosys and many more companies including good MNC with stipend varying from 10 thousand to 1.5 lakhs.
Placement Experience
Placement are average, we can sit for internships after 4 semester and we can sit for placement after 6 semesters, almost 90% get placed with an average of 6 lakhs, last year highest package offered was 56 lakhs at zomato, big MNC like JP Morgon, KPMG, Microsoft, TCSetc visit the college and offer good opportunity.
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise fees is 200000 for category 1, 300000 for category 2, 350000 for category 3, 400000 for category 4. Hostel fees vary from 1 lakh to 2 lakhs. College offers various loan without collateral and relaince scholarship.
Campus Life
The annual cultural and technical fest is ADVITYA scheduled every year in february it includes many cultural events like pop night to hackathons, the library have many books and journals to read, classroom are equipped with projectors, AARAMBH is the sports fest in VIT Bhopal in almost all domains, there are almost 70 clubs with about 40 technical and 30 non technical and all are student run which enhances both main and soft skills.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms are varied from 2 bed to 8 bed depending on availibility and preference with ac and non ac options, hostel rooms are clean and regular maintainance is done and washrooms are usable but dirty. Hostels arte alloted by counselling and are affordable. Mess food is okay but hygenic.
Admission
I gave only JEE Mains and could not qualify it, the other exam was VITEE I scored good marks in it and secured a good rank and took admission in electronics branch because of my interest. To get admission in VIT we should appear in VITEEE exam and also we should have 60 percent minimmum in boards of 12th class.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is 1:70, almost all faculty is good and experienced in their respective field, the exams are conducted twice per semester as mid semester and end semester in 1.5 month each. marking is relative and cgpa is given on class average basis making a competetive enviroment.
Night Life
Every hostel have their own gym with specific opening and closing timing, also there are canteens in campus and hostel ope till 9 at night, the hostel curfew timing is 9 at night, it is not allowed to roam in campus at night and there are no good hangout place in campus.
