- They took a fees of 4500 rs for dress in which they give 2 tshirts 2 pant piece and 2 shirt piece, I think according to price it's not worth it for uniform
Course Curriculum Overview
From childhood I wanted to choose CSE, as I liked hacking related stuffs from early childhood. So I choosed this course The curriculum builds leadership skills in us, on field practical experience in us , and keeps us Up to date in what's going on the job market I think in the course curriculum they should increase more physics faculty for the 1st year students .
Internships Opportunities
I am just a 1st year student , but I can explain a seniors internship journey In second year she cracked the Microsoft engage mentee program, and later he got a job as SDE in Microsoft . After that she got PPO from Microsoft and cracked 51 LPA job
Placement Experience
From 5th or 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement Highest package from this college is 51 LPA in Microsoft and average package is 4-6 LPA. The placement rate is above 85% in this college Companies like thought works, p360, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, cognizant, and many more visit the campus
Fees and Financial Aid
I have Got CSE -TFW In these college. So my entire fees in 4 year is nearly 80K. During admission they took 56K and for 2nd semester 13K and rest 6 semesters I have to give 1250 rs . In 80K I will be completing my B.Tech in CSE . FOR non-TFW students the total fees in 4 years is 6.80 Lakhs in which 1.10 Lakh is during admission and for 2nd semester is 86,500 . There are available many kind of scholarship like SVMCM. And the admission department teachers are too helpful to complete you every process.
Campus Life
There are Internal Hackathons, Freshers, SITEX Fest, Tech Fest and many more events in the college. SIT Liabrary is too huge , from the book bank of liabrary we got the whole semester books for the whole semester for free. And in the liabrary we have foreign journals, Britannica, and many other quality books. There are smart class room in every floor. There are cricket and football ground in the campus and annual sports tournament there
Admission
So I have scored 19k in the Wbjee 2024 exam and after that I found on internet that I can get TFW in this college, see in this rank I couldn't get cse in any government college and the fees for private colleges is too high , so I got CSE in TFW in this college so I choose this college over other colleges In the 1st round of councelling I got this college and I reached here one day later this college for physical verification. The admission in charge was too good that he helped me to run the whole process smoothly.
Faculty
The faculties are too polite to every student, like after completing a topic they go through bench to bench to ask everyone that if they are okay with the topic or not. Is someone is not okay then they will explain it again to him/her. And you can call them 24/7 and they will surely pick your call if possible for them. There are Faculties like Suvojit Roy(BEE), Banani Adhikari Das(PHY) , Binay Sarkar(workshop) , Mandovi Banerjee(Maths) they are extraordinary, and our SPOC Deb Sekhar Laha SIR(CS) is also great. The course curriculum is too relavant to the topic and students only fail for their own lifestyle and not studying
Night Life
One can use gym till 7pm and there are many hotels and pgs The hotels maintains good food quality so that any students does not get affected Kurseong is 30 mins from the college, nearest places are Rong tong , madhuban park, mahananda forest , Rohini, Gulma etc
