Course Curriculum Overview
Course curricullum is outdated and it should be updated to modern learning and rational thinking rather than school-like remembering and memorisation which leads to rote learning and we can do nothing but accept the system
Internships Opportunities
Just like the placements, internship oppurtunities are great as well The median stipend in mnc and cse are over 1 lakhs, highest being 4 lakhs, by APT portfolio Most of the companies provide PPO resulting in instant placments
Placement Experience
Btech students have placements from 6th semester, while it is 8th for IDD students. For cse and mnc, more than 80% of the batch size are placed with a median salary of 35 lakhs+ and highest going more than 1.4 cr for the two batches I want to go to a quant firm or as sde based on the interest I develop
Fees and Financial Aid
I will be paying around 2.2 lakhs per year and extra 30k for mess which include 500 examination,200 registration, 1000 gymkhana, 150 festival, 300 medical, 200 utilities and 2k for campus development. SC,ST,PWD- exempted from tuition fees, EWS have to pay 33% of the tuition fee
Campus Life
Campus is vast and peaceful, being open campus we are allowed to explore varanasi I haven't been into any clubs yet but would go into cops and quant The clubs are very interactive, developing our skills
Hostel Facilities
Rooms are triple sharing and contins bed, chair, table, 2 cupboards Meal is good with hygience Registration occurs online though we have to go for physical verification The hostel contains canteen and table tennis tables as well
Admission
I got accepted in IIIT hyderbad cse 4 years but i chose iit bhu mnc due to its alumni network and great placement statistics. My college accepts through JEE advanced and the closing rank for my course is 2.1k for general
Faculty
Faculties and all good and evenly distributed taking the faculty-student relation to a next level. It also includes setting up challenging tutorials and exams which help us challenge ourselves and ensure that we are in the right track to learning
Night Life
Unfortunately we are not allowed to leave or enter hostel after 10 pm in the 1st year so it hasn't been a great night life, other than inside hostel. But it is safe and great to explore the ghats of Varanasi
