Remarks
College is quite good and atmosphere is gd for studying.college have a central ac library with computers so one can study there.faculties are good.also college provides gate coaching for the btech students.
Course Curriculum Overview
We generally have 8 semesters in 4 year. Per year we have 2 semesters. One is even and another is odd.generally cources are covered before the semester. In one semester we have 2 internal examinations.
Placement Experience
Placement is not quite good.college have a special placement cell and also many companies come to our college to recruit students but the placement percentage is not good. College also provides coaching for skill and employability.
College Events
Our college has many branches like electrical machanical civil chemical computer science so every branch have their own fest rather than that every branch organises welcome and farewell ceremony every year. Rather than that horizon is celebrated every year which is the biggest fest of odisha.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As my college is a government college fee is not much its around 30000 to 35000.fee structure is good but the hostel fee is quite high it ll be around 40000 per year.except that all other fees are gd
Fees and Financial Aid
College dont provide any special scholarship all are provided by state or central government. As i am a general srudent i am not getting any scholarship.despite of being a student from middle class family its quite hard to maintain without getting any scholarship.
Campus Life
I am a good singer and we have a band in our college. We used to practice on the vacations and holidays and perfermed several times inside or outside of college. The name of our band is umeed and it consists of more than 15 members.
Hostel Facilities
I had selected for hostel but currently i am staying outside because the fee of hostel is quite high and my parents cant afford that. It has 3 hostel for boys.one is new and rest two are old. Specially bhaskar bhawan is too old
Alumni/Alumna
Some seniors are good helpfull and some are bad who used to scold juniors and let their work done by juniors. Our college has an alumni association many alumnies come to recruit students. Every year also alumni meet is organised and many alumni come
Admission
First i cleared the ojee exam then after the final allotment. After that i got a letter in which the date of admission and the necessary documents are listed. After making a bank draft and documents i reported college.
Faculty
Some faculties are good some are excellent and some are bad. Generally the faculties from iit and nits are good and the senior professors are good but the guest faculties are not much experienced so they are not too good
