- Not well experienced faculties make it difficult to crack
- Since it is a start up and we are the first batch it is more like trial and error
- No placement even though the management have a mental health hospital under them
Course Curriculum Overview
For the first 4 semester, there are complimentary and supplementary subjects such as English literature and second language which is very useless. Exams are conducted every 6 month and modules are quite easily structured so it is very sensible to study. Qualified teachers must be appointed for the betterment of the college and students
Fees and Financial Aid
Nirmalagiri college of advanced studies started in 2021 Under the management of nirmalagiri college , since our college is a self financing college, one time donation is there for everyone which is ?20,000 if you are allotted for the seat through merit then 1 sem is included in itself otherwise you are supposed to pay tuition fee of sem 1 which 11,000. Tuition fees are according to how university have instructed for each course. Total of 1,30,000 is for all the semester
Campus Life
We share a campus with nirmalagiri college. There is very small space for social aspects and exposure. Infrastructure provided to us are also of nirmalagiri college. Our infrastructure are just being built
Admission
This was the only college where there was bsc psychology near me. So even though it was a very new establishment i took the risk and regret now on academic base. I got really nice people over there. You can apply through Kannur University allotment or get a management seat. Eligibility is above 70 percentage
Faculty
It is 4 faculties to 24 students in 3rd dc. Exam are conducted properly results are also delivered on time. Students having back paper are rare compared to other departments at college. The university can make the course curriculum more effective
Night Life
We don't have a night life college gates get closed on 5:00pm college library is accessible until 4:30 and it si open on Saturdays. My house is near to the college so I don't stay at hostal. We have a cafeteria and a canteen. Both provide good food but with very limited options
