Likes
- I liked most the FFCS system here in which you can select your faculty acc to you and can set your time table according to your convenience
- The faculty is nice and not much irritating all the teachers are friendly
- Campus is very green very greenery here and many cafes are there where food is good and mess food is also good and hostel rooms are spacious and ventilation is very nice weather is also good
Dislikes
- The campus is not much developed campus is in under construction and there are strict rules here
- Night life is not very much in campus as you are not allowed to go outside the college after 9pm
- Hostel restrictions are also there as you can not go to other rooms but can do if guard doesn't catches you but you can do that guards doesn't much have complaints
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is very nice and the courses are very good my course is here CSE (AI &ML) so many cultural events are there also and coding environment is very good here . Hackathons keeps helding here and students took part in that
Internships Opportunities
The placement rate is good sometimes companies come for the mass recruitment and companies come for the internships Projects and tasks are given by the companies itself you can do coding if you are in cse branch and make your coding skills sl great that you wil get a high package
Placement Experience
Students become eligible form 3rd year for the placements Some companies visited the campus nut didn't offered the jobs Highest package is around 56 lakhs from my college and average package is 14 lakhs and from CSE branch Mainly 10-12% students gets high packages I'll join the company which will hire me
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees is 195000 as my course is in category A and category B courses have something around 160000-170000 fees Caution fees 15000, and there is no reservations for any SC , ST In VIT fees variues in categories you will pay fees accordingly to your rank in VITEEE for category 1 195000 fees for category 2 295000 and further students with higher rank in VITEEE gets scholarship
Campus Life
The annual fests are winter fest and Advitya the winter fest held in December as it is a new year fest and ADvitya helds in February where renowned sinhers come for performance There are lots of books and journals and very vast variety of books There are smart classes , projectors in the classroom Sports are very good here there is cricket ground, football ground and indoor stadiums for badminton and basketball and volleyball There are many student-run social groups like marathi club , gujarati club , bengali club and many more they organises many fests
Hostel Facilities
There is a bed , fan , study table and cupboards the rooms are very spacious and windows are there so that air ventilation is very good and outside campus there is inly farms so the air is fresh and free from pollution and there ks very peace the bathroom and washroom are common but are cleaned three times a day The meal is very good nad of good quality according to the mess the food is very good and tasty During registration for admission you can also apply for the hostels You can rent the PG in sehore and astha
Admission
I applied for IIT'S as I am preparing for JEE ADV and unfortunately I didn't cleared that so i chooses this college . I chose this as in private colleges VIT has a very good reputation. I get rejection from JEE ADV as I didn't cleared the exam For VIT there is a exam VITEEE in which Maths physics chemistry aptitude and english comes behalf on our rank we get the VIT campus and the branch which we want to pursue the exam is of 125 marks and if you score 90+ you will get rank under 1000 rank
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is good as normally there are 45-60 students in a class . Some faculties are very good there like Dr Sumit mittal he teaches computational chemistry, Dr Pradeep Kumar Mishra he teaches fundamentals of AI&ML all the teachers have doctorate degree . All the faculties are nice, some faculties like Dr Saurabh Bhandula i didn't like them as they didn't give marks . There are two exams mid term and end term exams are moderate as which your faculty taught you comes in the exam as teacher's also guide you and tells the important questions before the exam . Mostly all the students passes the exam
Night Life
There are 2 gyms in the campus and 3-4 cafeterias gyms are not very spacious there is always crowd in the gyms and gym timings are also there and cafeterias are good and slightly expensive not much but you can afford easily Hostel in timings are before 9pm as after 9 pm there is no entry in the hostel and after 7.you can not go near the girls hostel as there are very strict rules . There is no night life here this is a very main cons of the college , and outing from campus are only allowed twice in a month which after your proctor allows you The hangout places are Mayuri cafe and underbelly cafe the LC ( lab complex ) and Lion garden these are the good places for hangout with the friends and many spots where small grass are there and many flowers the campus has bery vast much Greenery
