The college campus is very big and beautiful
Some faculties are very friendly and helpful
The library of our college is also good and big

Dislikes

Some faculties need to be improved(specially programming language)
AC is very very needful for summertime ..
There is noticeable difference between faculty's suggestion and the question paper

Course Curriculum Overview

Question papers were not too much difficult.. But we need sufficient time for preparation... Syllabus for all subjects were not covered for this semester... For 100 marks exam i think we need 15 or 20 minutes more Difficulty level is medium

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 785000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For 1st sem : 120000 For 2nd to 8th sem: 95000 I belong to general category Fees for all are same I don't know about the scholarships but I've heard that some students can apply for swami vivekananda scholarship

Campus Life

I don't know about the clubs and all...recently we've joined the smart maker festival which was really good....there happened many tech fests in our college....we have physical education class and French class...our campus is big and beautiful

Admission

I've chosen this college because It is a well known college. It is known as the best private engineering college in west Bengal...the infrastructure of this college is good...the campusing of this college is good .....the environment , disciplines all are well known....for taking admission in this college studenta need to give wbjee or iemjee

Faculty

Some faculties are friendly and helpfull and very serious regarding their teaching method. Specially i like our chemistry faculty and he is our classteacher also Dr. Arabinda Chakraborty. Programming language faculties are need to be improved.. There are 2 exams before the semester exam occurs (term 1 and term 2) , lab exams also But we need time to prepare for the exams,there are shortages of time for preparation....

Night Life

The library of our college is big and good...i don't know about hostels...and have no idea about the night roaming...the students of space observatory spend nights for their works, they feel safe... I don't know about the hostel timings..but amr college gate closing time is 9:15 am The locality is also safe for all students and teachers....there is a nice cafeteria inside our college and 3 4 canteens Food items are great

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Excellence with good culture of academic and infrastructure

If frustration would have a definition.

If you want to join ths college you have give IEMJEE (their own admission exam) or through WBJEE Exam. But don't worry pal half of it's admission is done by management quota and rest of the seat is seal by external broker.
