Remarks

The thought behind the college is very good but they are reluctant in giving any sort of freedom to a student's thoughts, thereby leading to congestion in the student. Additionally, they involve parents in almost every sphere which according to me shouldn't be the case at this age because it restricts the growth of the student as a human being and how he can handle situations.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is heavily straining and almost drains out a student of his juices to do well. It can be made much easier in reference to other well established institutions. The exam structure consists of 3 internal exams, out of which only 2 are considered, followed with the semesters.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placement and job opportunities are decent for the students hailing from CS department but it's equally bad for Mech and ECE people as they struggle to get into the core companies. The college doesn't provide any sort of internship. The basic thing about this college is they are extremely reluctant to do good.

College Events

1

The college has its own fest- Maaya which is actually very bad mostly because of the appaling management done by the students. Then the college has several department specific completions like The Kludge for ECE Ingenius Hackathon for CSE Vinyasa Design Competition for ME

Fee Structure And Facilities

I would term it mid range. It's not expensive as almost everyone pays that much these days to get an engineering degree but when you compare with the state residents, you start to feel the knot in the stomach for paying excessive fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college lets the students, who are Karnataka residents, pay subsidised fees which is almost one third of the amount of out stationers have to pay. Scholarships are also awarded to those belonging to the backward castes. Additionally, there is scholarship for academic excellence from the state university( to which my college is affiliated) and not my college.

Campus Life

4.5

Labs are okayish. I don't find them well equipped at all. Most of the equipments in the lab are already obsolete in the industrial scenario. Sports and all other activities are massively hindered by the attendance strictness which I don't think should be a matter of consideration at this level.

Hostel Facilities

2

I had stayed in hostel for 2 years but then I decided to move out as they charge too much and don't even have the decency to cover the basic amenities like Washing Machine, Good food or Good wifi connection. They also have very stupidic timings for the hostel which has no validity.

Alumni/Alumna

Haven't been in touch with the alumni this far. Senior students are helpful though in various areas. Regarding the alumni network, I would term it very weak. The college doesn't get any upward lift from the alumnus mostly because of its stringent attitude.

Admission

I had to write the national test COMED k for being eligible for admission. Following the test and release of results, they conduct offline counselling which is usually done in a college wherein there is display of live availability of seats referring which the students choose their respective colleges.

Faculty

3

There are few teachers who are overqualified to be in this college and there are some who just come for the sake of money and I believe that's the case with a lot of colleges. However, the no of good teachers is very low and there is severw lack of enthusiasm in most of the teachers.
