Remarks
From my perspective it was very good college as compared to other colleges in Udaipur. The quality of education that they are providing and also the discipline in education is also very good. They encourage students to take part in various activities.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is affiliated to RTU( Rajasthan Technical University). The curriculum is pretty decent. It depends on the faculty who is teaching those subjects. Exam structure is semester based i.e. we have 4 years and 8 semesters.
Placement Experience
There is no internship provided by college itself. But sometimes they do bring some other institutes for internship purpose. For example they provided us an option to do summer internship from CDAC institue which was good.
College Events
Many events are celebrated in our college. Annual festival is there which is very good. Apart from that all other events like Republic day, Independence Day, Holi, Diwali, Teachers Day, etc all are celebrated.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is feasible only. not too expensive as compared to other colleges. there are many other colleges in Udaipur which takes more fees than Techno India NJR. But for the education that they are providing, the fees is very minimal.
Fees and Financial Aid
For few students that were not able to pay the bus fees, our director use to make bus fees free for them. Also, for many competitive exams or any workshops that were conducted, college use to give some part of the fees.
Campus Life
The labs are awesome. They are well equipped with instruments that are needed. Techno India NJR is even nodal center for Smart India Hackathon finale because of its good infrastructure and labs and also it conducts many TCS banking exams.
Alumni/Alumna
There was some website that they had shared earlier for alumnus but i am not sure whether it is being used now or not. Our director use to visit many metro cities every year or two to meet the students which is good.
Admission
There used to be an engineering entrance exam called RPET (Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test) for students of Rajasthan. It was state engineering exam. Now, this is removed. So I gave that exam and I got a rank around 24000 which is kind of bad rank only. Students use to get government engineering colleges by RPET exam. There was only one government engineering college in my city that was CTAE (College of Technology And Engineering). So I applied for that and on second priority I applied for Techno India NJR. Colleges were provided on the basis of ranks of students via counselling. So, I got Techno India NJR from first counselling.
Faculty
Faculty was very good when i was there. They use to teach us the things practically rather than just theoretical knowledge which was helpful. They also encouraged to take part in online coding competitions.
