GJU might just be for you...

I was quite interested in joining computer science as I was passionate about this subject. The curriculum just does an formality for the real world applications and further academic pursuits. The course curriculum should improve and be updated.the exams happen every 5 months and 2 months holidays alternate semester. Exams are not difficult they can be prepared really well in a day or two.

The internships are quite often available for either nno stipend or high stipend or you have to pay them even. Roles are like software engineer software developer,and web developer. The projects and outcomes re quite good a lot of students get ppo placement letter even before placements from the internship companies.

Students are eligible from 7th sem onwards. The companies that visit are new local startups and Infosys ,tcs ,blinkit, Zomato, Walmart,payzapp, Wipro and quite a lot.highest package has been of 32lakhs per annum. Just a lot of profiles, software engineer, software developer, etc. percentage in different courses varies quite a bit but around 30-40% student get placed. I wish to take up a job as an data engineer.

The fees for my particular courses is 32500/semester and it hasn't increase in tha last three years, the registration fees is nominal that is paid during the admission and you need to give one semester's fees in advance before admission. There are quite a bit of financial aids as our university is an government all those policies are helpful they have helped a lot of my friends whom where not financially well. Ofcourse SC/ST have a huge fee waiver even despite there being TFW category.

My experience has been good overall in the university some fests are konark fest , youth festival, cultural festival, tech fests, our library is quite big and has a large number of books.and is pretty accessible you can go there the whole 24*7. The computer labs in the old buildings may be a bit old. But the new labs are top notch. Sports and extracurricular are very huge and an important. There are grounds for open speech regular matche for cricket ,boxing ,volleyball, basketball, shooting, and other sports keep happening.tgete are a huge number of clubs .

I applied to MDU,KUK,DTU and DCRUST I prefered GJU over them because It's in my home town which is Hisar and DTU rejected me because my JEE rank wasn't sufficient. My college give admission by HSTES counseling for whuch you need to giv the JEE MAIN exam. Cutoffs are justified around 90000-150000 ranks in JEE main.

The faculty to student ratio is quite fine with an exception for some subjects for which only one teacher is available. Faculty student relationship is quite good. They are very approachable and have an welcoming attitude but not the non teaching staff. Like Anupama Sangwan mam was amazing she is quite strict but she was the most helpful and passionate about teaching. She actually put in the biggest effort to know every student in her class by name. There were some external practical teachers which were the worst and not nice at all . There are 5/6 subjects per semester and 2/3 of them will have labs and every semester there will be atleast one non credit subject. There are quite a few students who don't clear the exams and the university is quite infamous around here to give reappears to students who even did well. The curriculum is quiet relevant but needs to be updated at least in our course

The gym and cafetaria are good but the gym is very busy and filled during the vening and the sini tea stall ,hello tea stall are busiest and the most happening place in the day. There are 5 boys hostel and 4 girls hostel. One boys hostel is reserved for foringn students . outside the ice spice and the auto market naam wala is the bestt. And the pyramid restaurant and party hall is where almost all the birthday parties happen.Girl may not be safe late in the night as the university is quite close to the highways. Boys can go anywhere.
