The admission process of TMI is straight forward.. CLEAR the IMUCET exam CLEAR the TMISAT exam CLEAR the interview held by TMI faculty members Talking about why i chose this college is because it was the best option available even though i had other colleges shortlisted. Other colleges dodnt have facilities like workshops and were very unhygienic

Faculties of this institue are very good and professional. Classes usually occur in a 1:35 ratio in Marine Engineering batches. There are 3 exams per semester of moderate difficulty. Out of the 3, 2 exams are internal exams worth 20% overall to the final grades. the end semester exam is an external exam conducted by IMU and worth 70% of the final grade. Passing percentage of these exams are 50%. Curriculum of this course is up to date

there was an online test (TMISAT) and a psychometric test held after that Tests were of moderate difficulty and questions were asked on physics, maths and general aptitude After the TMISAT test the inerview was held where they asked basic level questions
