College Discipline is good. No student can enter in college without ID card. There is well maintained discipline among classes. 75% attendence should be there for semester exams. Below 65% no student is allowed to appear in semester exam.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is far better than other universities like BHU, JNU etc.DU conducts semester exams having around 4-5 subjects in each semester in which one subject is GE (Generic Elective). In GE , one can opt a subject from different course also. For example - A Physics hons. student can opt Hindi also. This helps in increments of grades.
Placement Experience
Placements are quite good in my college as it falls under TOP 10 colleges. But it's better to opt for Post Graduation. College Placement Cell provides internships in reputed organizations. Average package is around 4.2 LPA
College Events
Every year college organises Cultural Festival for 3 days.Last day is Star Night in which any Bollywood singer come. In 2016 Neha Kakkar came, In 2017 Kailash Kher came.Those 3 days were wonderful.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible. Mine is 12000 per year in SVC-DU as Central Government provides funds every year. But some colleges of DU are Autonomous and their fees are around 80-90000 per year. Fees is not much but living in Delhi is quite expensive. Transportation by bus is cheap er than by metro.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, I have availed two scholarships. One is National Scholarship under MHRD.I received around Rs. 10000. And other is my college scholarship in which half of the fees is refunded amounting 6000(approx)
Campus Life
Extra Curricular activities are good. College has its own Badminton ground, an Auditorium for singing and dancing activities. College also has it own Nukkad Naatak society. Laboratories of college are also good.
Alumni/Alumna
Most of the alumnees are settled in their field in reputed organizations. Some of them are also settled in foreign countries. Every year college organises Alumni Fest where past 7 years are invited.
Admission
UG Admissions in University of Delhi are totally based on class 12th percentage. DU releases cut off lists (having cut off percentage for every affiliated college of Delh) in the first week of June after 12th result.
Faculty
Faculty is quite good. In every department there are Professors and Assistant Professors. All professors are NET-JRF qualified. There is well maintained discipline among classes. 75% attendence should be there for semester exams.
