- Lab facilities and practical classes, handled really well by members of the field.

Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is up to date and covers almost all the bases of microbiology. Curriculum is structured to include project works and innovative, subject related information. Further studies, if desired, can be opted from any and various specializations regarding Microbiology and biotechnology.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is not increasing. Odd sem fees is 44500 while even sem fees is around 23000. So in total around 70000 for a year for 3 years each. Scholarship opportunities are not available to all but for SC STs and other criteria is considered
Campus Life
Annually, the college union society (CUS) conducts a program called DEEPWOODS, consisting of cultural, formal, informal events and event celebrity performances and visits. Each department also conduct their own subject-themed program once a year and give the event a funky name. The college is library is amazing and has a vast number of resources both online and hard copies. Sports activities are conducted regularly, inter department competitions and other events that actively engaged students in sports.
Admission
From several sources and websites scattered across the internet, I came to a conclusion that MCC offers a great BSc Microbiology program. I did apply to a bunch of other colleges though and I did get a seat in a few of them but chose MCC because of its ambience and the great details I learnt about the program. Admission process is very simple, browse the net for our college website, and fill out an application form answering all relevant details.
Faculty
It depends on the faculty tbh. Course is roughly 3 years with 6 semesters. The course covers vast areas that are of industrial, environmental and medical significance. Value education and personality development courses are useful in the first 2 years. In the third year, general elective course is offered. Faculties are very approachable and appreciate students who are genuinely interested and passionate about research. Exams are pretty difficult for students coming from CBSE background. Takes time to adapt but requires genuine interest and hard work.
Night Life
Hostel gyms are amazing despite only being allocated a small area. Late night activities are often not permitted for hostelers. But within the college, I've heard that walking around for a while, is a serene experience. Hangout places typically include student centre or the canteen and gutters running along the college, where the students often sit and have a chat. There's a tea stall nearby which is also famous among students.
