Course Curriculum Overview

3

Overall, a well-structured curriculum that balances theoretical knowledge with practical application is essential for preparing students for their future careers or further academic pursuits. Continuous improvement based on feedback and industry trends will ensure that the curriculum remains relevant and comprehensive. By addressing the areas for improvement in teaching methods and assessment strategies, the course can enhance student engagement and success.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am student of rajiv gandhi south campus banaras hindu University. My semester fees is ?16150/- which means my yearly fees for academic is ?32300/-, further my hostel fees is ?5500 with extra ?2000 (refundable) as security money. Here students can get state as well as central scholarships, my seniors also got scholarship around ?8000-10000. This was fees structure for first year bcom hons (FMM).

Campus Life

3

If you are searching for bollywood campus life then this is not for you. I think du colleges have more fests in comparison to bhu. Bhu also organises different types of activities in which you can participate but fests and parties are not more in comparison to du.for sports here is playground, gym and many other facilities like health centre.overall campus life is good but not best. If you are clubbing person please prefer du.

Hostel Facilities

5

Here are total of 8 hostels including both girls and boys hostels.I am from kailash hostel it is newly made and rooms are very good. 2 are accomodated in 1 room. Fees if 5500/ year. Mess is available in all the hostels except 1 hostel that is Himgiri hostel.

Admission

The main reason for choosing this college waist was much affordable as compared to private colleges.secondly the college i got in delhi University was shyam lal that too in bcom programme so I preferred bcom hons fmm in bhu over du.

Faculty

5

Faculties are easily approachable by the students.whenever you'll find any difficulty you can freely ask them. Ratio is like 1:10 approx.. I am from commerce faculty and I think it is the best one because they not only help you in getting degree from college they'll also help to get you a proper knowledge of course and if you are pursuing any other course apart from bcom they'll help you in that also. There is no faculty till that I didn't liked. Exams are conducted semester wise and yes here students fail too. I think the level of exam is moderate or sometimes difficult. But still if you'll study you can easily do better.

Interview Experience

4

Group discussions are done weekly here we have different topics like new economic and business ideas and many more. Some other skills like business communication and ayurveda. Written tests are also made but it depends on professors of facilities

Night Life

2

There is no nightlife here in the campus. Everything shuts down by evening.hostel timings for boys is 6 am to 10 pm and for girls it is 7 am to 6 pm. Here you can find library gym cafeteria but everything is closed by evening.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.Com course curriculum in my college is quite relevant and well structured. It covers core commerce subjects like accounting, business studies, and economics, which helped me choose this course. The syllabus mainly focuses on building strong theoretical fundamentals, which is useful for students planning higher studies such as M.Com, MBA, or professional courses like CA. The curriculum prepares students reasonably well for academic purposes, but there is still scope for improvement in terms of real-world exposure. More practical learning, case studies, presentations, and industry interaction would make the course more skill-oriented and career-focused. The college follows the semester system with internal and external examinations conducted regularly. The exams are of moderate difficulty level. Students who attend classes regularly, complete assignments, and study consistently can pass and score good marks.
