My Personal Thoughts about My University

I am very much interested in electronics subject so with my brother's suggestions I took electronics and communication engineering. Our curriculum helps to learn something new by conducting guest lectures on several important issues which are really helpful for the future generations. I think we have of gap of 2 months between mid exams and semester exams. Difficulty level is not that much I think so because our faculty members thought us some tricks which really helpful for us during the difficulty level of the paper

Barclays , Microsoft, O9 Solutions, Amazon,TCS , Cadence , AMD, GORMAL - ONE , Infineon and many more. The stipend of Rs. 25,000/- per month for a maximum period of 3 years.Technology development for scalable and there are many more projects are held in our college.

I can say that we have 95-100% placement for the students in this University. From the 5th semester the students are eligible to get campus placements.Amazon, PayPal, Barclay, American Express, Bank America, Walmart, AB InBev, TCS, Cognizant and nearly 800+ companies visited our campus . Totally nearly 600 offers made Highest package 50LPA and the average package is of 10LPA. My plans after getting the degree to go for doing Masters in Germany .

I am from ECE department of SRM University ,Amravati Branch. I got this seat by writing the SRMJEE entrance exam. I am paying the annual fee, general fee, tution fee, insurance fee of 265700. I am paying the hostel fee of 129300 with mess fees.

We have several events like Aloha for the freshers, Tech fest , Paridhan , Infinitus,Kalista, Udagam,Onam celebrations, halloween celebrations. All the types of books are available in our Library. I think we have almost all journals. The facilities and technological provisions within the classrooms are too good . We have cricket ground , basketball court,table tennis court, international school competitions conducted for the encouragement to the sports interested students. We have nearly 30 clubs which encourages our students to learn

The facilities provided in the hostel are we are provided with studytable and a chair, wardrobe, shower and a wash basin. The meal quality was good but implementation of new memu was not that good we have chicken curry in a week and chicken dum biryani on Sunday lunch that was too good. After getting the seat in the university we were accessed to the student portal of SRM University and in that there will be the clear step by step process for registration of hostel. I applied to Amrita Vishwa VidhyaPetam,Chennai and Satyabhama University Chennai . I got CSE department in both the universities. Comparing to the other universities I listen that here the university is well disciplined and encourages the students to do more research work about their thoughts and I am also to do research related work . I didn't get rejected from the college's I applied . With my own interest I rejected the universities and join this university. We can join in this University by jee mains percentile and entrance exam of the university. With above 90 percentile in the jee mains students able to get seat who wants to join through JEE exam . The cutoff of SRMJEE University exam is 30-35k rank

In the first semester we have totally 6 subjects. All the six subjects are totally credit based. The faculty members are really friendly with students and it really helps me to resolve my doubts and share my thoughts with them freely. We have one mid exam before the semester exam. Based on the mid exams and CLA's we get out internal marks and the internals will be added to semester marks we get our final CGPA for that semester. Even though we prepare for the exam sometimes we students feel the paper tough . I think we have a better curriculum than other universities

There are 3 gyms in our college. One In girls hostel , another one in boys hostel and last one is the common gym for both boys and girls. Domino's, Us pizza, Subway, Baskin Robins , The Belgian waffle are some of the best cafeterias in our college. We have 3-4 hostels for girls and for boys 2 hostels. We have a lot of places to hangout with our friends like sr block grand stairs , v block and cv block grandstairs and tree court area . Walking around the campus with friends is the best thing to do at night.
