Best Part of my LIFE

Overall faculty wise college is very good but as per infrastructure college needs to be improved facilities for students specially hostel and mess. As a government institution, this college was one of the best college in Haryana but it needs something extra to fulfill the demand of the students.

I have completed my master course from YMCA Faridabad in power system and drives, a specialisation of electrical engineering. The exam structure contains exams after every semester.The duration of each semester is of 6 months and the total duration of master degree course is 2 years. final semester have thesis project and my topic is our power quality.

Many companies visited our college in final year of our degree. As I earlier mentioned that I was from Teaching background. So I do not apply for any kind of internship or placement because I just wanna go in teaching and that's what I do after completion of my master course.

There are different kinds of events celebrated in our college like 1.sports day, 2.cultural fest, 3.technical fest and 4.annual function. Out of all I enjoy technical fest very much more than the others.

Feasible for me because I am taking classes for the graduation students and earning some pocket money for my fees. In fact I save some money for myself and use it for my enjoyment. Fees is taken on the annual basis.

Scholarship awarded by our college for Students coming on 1st, 2nd and 3rd position. As per my knowledge there is no facility of any loan for the students available. However fee waiver for economically weaker students is available.

As a post graduate student, I am not so aware for extra curricular activities but as a part time faculty in the college, I know about the Laboratories very well. all type of equipments are available in the laboratory and I personally provide practicals on the experimental kits and machines to the graduate students. For sports, a very huge ground is available in the college campus situated on the national highway having all types of basic facilities of sports.

Yes I opted for hostel facilities because I belong to Rohtak and my college was in Faridabad. But sorry to say that hostel infrastructure and facilities provided to us are not in good condition. The basic need that is drinking water was not good to drink. food for eating in our mess was not in hygienic condition and hostel rooms are very old having no plaster.

We have a very few senior students, all of them are very helpful and one of them for me is very much full caring and sharing. He provides me notes for every subject. Even after completing his post graduation he calls frequently to me solve my problems.

Well, the admission is based on merit list. I was working as Lecturer in Gurgaon and I just got the news from one of my friend that admission was going on for master course in YMCA Faridabad so I just applied and got admission first chance on merit base.

Most of the faculty members are straight forward. What they are saying means what they are doing. Some faculty members are like Nariyal, hard from outside and soft from inside.In short, it was a short time that I can't forget of my LIFE that I spent in this college.
