DTU: Defining excellence

The course i chosed is electrical engineering. I dont like computer science and the next leading branch in egineering is electrical which has a scope to enter into tech and core subjects. The growing semi conductor industry influenced me to choose electrical branch. The exams are conducted during december in odd semester and in april in even semester. I suggest to use more technology in teaching core subjects to make tem easy to understand for the students.

The internship opportunities of our college are the best in entire north india. The avearage package is 75000 and highest is around 2 lakh. The companies which offer interships are dell hp and other major conpanies which has an average stipent of 75000. The projects are webdevelopemnt app developemt html dsa etc.

The campus placements of our college are very good i should say excellent. We provide tough competition to indian institution od tecunologies in various parts of the country. Students become eligible for campus placement from seventh semester and can join the comapany after their course conpletion i.e after 8th semester. Conpanies include microsoft amazon nvidia tcs bhel ola and many other campanies. Last year the companies made and offer of almost 3000 and selecting studenst around 2500. The average package of the canpus is 12 lpa and electrical department is 17 lpa the highest package is 82.5 lpa. The percentage students is around 85. My plans after the degree incude to get a good job and invest my salary in stocks

The fee for a btech student ehich i enrolled is 1036800 which includes tuition fees and other services provided by the college.If you opt for hostel,the hostel fee is 96800 including mess fees.yes,the annual fee structure of the college is increasing yearly for the tenure of 4 years.The fee structure for four years is as follows: 236800 for first year,246800 for secound year,266800 for third year and 286800 for fourth year. The free structure is always increased for newly admitted students.The college provide a scholarship. Many various organisations like dell,Indian oil,Relaince and other big comapanies provide scholarship in our campus.The college provided scholorship,if selected,provides the whole tuition fee of that year.The tenure of the scholarship is 2years you can apply after the completion of the scholarship for another two years.The other governement scholarship is NSP scholarship provided by central governement which also provides the tuition fee of the college.The dell scholarship provides scholarship for whole college fee and hostell pg fee if applicated with a high end laptop for 7semesters.thers also a scholarship for reserved candidates like obc,sc and st.

My college delhi technological university has the best college life in entire northern india. The annual fest include engifest yuvvan techfest sanedo arambh and many more festival related fests. Many societies nameley auv uav uas defianz and one of indias top tech sicieties and hav won many prices in india and other foreign competitions. The faculties provide clssrooms and labs for society purposes and events. We have a annual sports fest called arena where students participates in their desired sports. All the socio groups are run by students some are produced by favulty. This creates a string bond between studensta of different branchs engaging in diffenet activities having a same motive.

The hostel facility is very good as comapred to other government funded collages. We have a well setup hostels with all necessary requirements such as geysers fans bed lights and heaters. Tye mess is good as conpared to other colleges and the take our reviews and try to male them better. Saanvi.dtu is the website were you can register for hostel and it is quite affordable. The locality you can rent pg is bawana or shabad or the areas just beside the campus

I had two option either to choose civil engineering from nit warangal or electrical engineering of delhi technological university. Nit warangal is in my home state so i doesnot want to be in home state i always wanted to study outside the state and i hated the branch civil as it doesnt have scope and low paying salaries so i choose electrical branch of delhi technological university. No i have not been rejected by any college infact i got many calls for admissions in various institutes. These colleges infrastructure is good but canpus placements and skill development is not at par so i rejected all the offers. The admission process to get into delhi technological university is through a counselling called jac delhi. The eligibility is 65 percent in physics chemistry and math and must clear the percentile of jee main exam required for the applied branch. The cut off is less for delhi region students as they have 85 percebt seats reserved for them the admission experience is not very good as oustide delhi students were very less and interactioj was not at par.

The faculty student ratio is quite good in our campus.They are easily approchable and some of the faculty of the college stays in the quaters provided for them in the college campus which helps us to ask doubt after college hours. I like venkataramana sir, he is the assistant proffessor of electrical department. He teaches us electrical workshop he is kind generous and helps us in solving problem outside the subject topics. He solves ussues of students and other teachers. Exams are divided into two parts mid term exams and end term exams. Mid term exam consits of 25 marks and end term exam consist of 40 or 50 marks depending on the subject. Exams are easy for some subjects and difficult of others . Mostly exams are managable and can be cleared required some effort from the students

The boys have the best night life in the campus. We have no restrictions in the canpus we can roam any where in the canpus at any time but should not try to exist from the campus after 9 30 pm. Girls are restricted and must return to their respected hostels before 10 30 pm and are not allowed after that. Gym is opened in morning and evening. We have cafeterias like nescafe nytcafr and raj soij hall. We have libraries which is open full time during exam and closes at 10 30 pm during off exam sessions. Fanous canpus hangout places include oat raj soin hall br auditorium and sports complex. Yes the locailty is safe during nights as it is far away from city crowd
