Course Curriculum Overview
Curicullam is very outdated and not at all industry relevant they only taught the things which are very similar to the thing taughth in other college Curicullam needs to have more industry exposure and real life problems solving
Internships Opportunities
Lots of companies visited the campus the top companies includes Texas Instruments, Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, Deloitte and many more and most students land up for internships and many even got PPO mostly roles offered are for SDE Analyst and Engineering roles
Placement Experience
Placements are pretty good in DSCE Students are eligible to sit in placements from third year and overall 250 companies visited the campus and highest package offered this year is 56 LPA and Average package is 10LPA for CSE and 8.5LPA for ECE While overall average is lower as total 20 branches are there 4.5 is avg for lower branches
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is 281000 which is tution fees for out course other than this we have to pay extra 32000 as library fees caution money and lab charges while there is a hidden charge or 5500 which is examination fees there are no scholarships as such available you can available scholarship by state government but for KCET students fees is only 120000 per year
Campus Life
DSCE have lots of fest and cultural activities taking place the annual fest of college is Vibrations and Furore the are the biggest fest of college while college have lots of active clubs which are having lots of activities
Admission
I applied to VIT but didnt got admitted there because of very strict and restrictions and student intake is very high there...To get admission in DSCE there are three ways very first is by Comedk which is for all india students second way is KCET for Karnataka students and third is Management Quota
Faculty
Student to teacher ratio is 60:1 Faculty are quite approachable and you can ask them doubts and anything I like my C teacher Prof Reshma J while disliking there's no one exams are held every month which are CIE while Quizs are held after every CIE and End sem exams are there
Night Life
Usually cafeterias and public place closing time is 9:30pm and gym is only available for the NRI hostels Hostel timings are 9:30pm Most famous hangout place is Rock Garden and cafes nearby and malls nearby are malls and parks
