Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course because I've always wanted to go into the corporate world :), the startup's always influenced me to do something big! The curriculum is quite difficult and good as it talks about the application of business things in real life like application of integration, differentiation in business economics etc Areas for improvement include not putting up unnecessary extra subjects like sec, vac, aec which are definitely a waste of time Exams gap is according to the difficulty level of the subject:)

Placement Experience

4

Students who're in their 5th semester gets eligible for campus placements The high top notch companies that visit our college include Accenture, Deloitte, mc Kinsey and co, de shaw and co, zomato, Zepto etc. Highest package offered is 23.5 lacs and average is 5.6 lacs per annum I think 40% students able to make it I'm planning for giving cat in 2026! :)

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees which you'll be paying is 16,230 for my course that is BCom honours and jo there's no compulsory course charges other than that, everyone has to pay the same fees irrespective of their category The name of the scholarship which is offered is Blaise Goswami award and the amount of which is 1,00,000 this is based on merit like one has to maintain her cgpa to get the scholarship.

Campus Life

5

The annual cultural fest is ullas which is held every year in between feb-march. Other fests include winter carnival, diwali mela, society events etc There are high variety and range of books in the library like novels, sacred books, course books and other ones too. The technological facilities are as good as that! There are 2 big computer labs provided and smart classes and projector in every classroom Annual sports festival is held every year to promote sports quota students and there's a basketball court in the college too for practising There are many societies and clubs of the college you can check them in the following of @kncsu :)

Admission

I only applied for du and got admission in knc and I didn't chose this college du alloted me this on the basis of my cuet marks and 12th percentage No i didn't get any rejection from any of the colleges I applied but I didn't able to make it there because of my less cuet marks and high cutoff You can get admission by giving cuet the eligibility is 12th passed with 50% or above and the cutoff for north campus colleges goes from 750-800 and for south it's 650-700

Faculty

4

The ratio of student faculty is 8:68 and the faculty is quite approachable and chill with the students the relationship between them is overall good like they help us whenever we need them The faculties that I liked the most in my college is shivali veen ma'am like she's so cute and chill with the students she teaches us financial markets and there's no faculty which I don't like everyone is good in their own aspect There are 2 sem exams in a year and they are mid difficult to clear, I think most of the students gets passed in this course but the average is 3-4 students. The course curriculum is quite difficult(ah for me)

Night Life

5

There's a gym facility in our college with proper ac facility which charges 500 per month, there's Nescafé cafeteria which makes the best maggi and cold coffee! There's no public area and the campus gets closed by 6:30 pm last and there's no hostel facility in college you have to stay in pg or flat if you get admission Famous hangout places include diggins, hauz khas, majnu ka tila etc The locality is safe as the college comes under Greater Kailash:)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
