Course Curriculum Overview
The main course thats is mining is very good but the additional subjects are added that are irrelevant which is not relative to our core subjects. Subjects like science fiction, Sanskrit. The level of exam is quite hard . Teacher are not that good in English which is a problem
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are provided by college if your capable to grab it otherwise it is difficult currently i am not doing any internships. But our facilities,hod are very good they helped alot to het internship
Placement Experience
The placement of our college is good talking to my branch that is mining placement is 100% and the average is 12 lpa approx highest package that is offered is 31 lpa . And the highest packega of our college which is from electronic and communication is 1.2 cr
Fees and Financial Aid
Annual fees for General / obc - 210000 year Sc/st - 70000 (tuition fee is zero) There is lots of scholarships only for students whose family income is less than 1 lakh , and scholarships also provided by government of same state student not others. Mess fee is to high which is increased by colleges without any increment in food but food quality is good
Campus Life
Campus life is very good lush green campus of 1200 acre. And there is total club is 17 which is higest number of club in whole nits or iits also. But the sports facilities is very poor which is provided by college
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are compulsory to every student and the food are good veg amd non veg food served both at a time but in different line. Registration process is simple amd the hostels are very good amd the facilities are also good
Admission
Our college nit rourkela the best thing in my college is its huge 1200 approx campus which provides us lush greenery everywhere and the silence environment which makes it's different from others college and the 17 club which provides the exposure to students to learns many things
Faculty
The faculty of our college are quite good some of are very good or very chill, and some are very rude. Fue of faculties are very supportive to your works and provide you time means giving attendance but the attendance issues are very bad in our college
Night Life
In our college there is 7 biys hostels and 3 girls hostel 1 combine hostel and there is 4 night canteen. Timing for girls in night time is 12 noon but for boys is 1 am . And in every hostel there is individual gym and a central gym which is used by both boys and girls
