Life at LDCE

I like to learn about machine from my childhood as I am attracted with vehicles, this drew me to choose this course. The curriculum prepare students by considering all the basic and advanced knowledge required for real world problems. There is some description of very old theory which must be replaced with the new technology. The exam are easy if the student base concept are clear.

The total college fees is 5000 INR. There is 3000 INR education or tution fees, 2000 INR exam fees and 300 INR PRC fees per anum. As it is government college all students have same fees except the students who get admission under TFWS they have free education. The student are getting scholarship as per their eligibility. Most students are getting MYSY (12000) and foodbill (15000) or digital gujarat(27000).

The tech fests are organising twice or thrice in a month as it is the best government college so many colleges and company are visiting often. The books in library are only of the subject in a course, no other books related to history or knowledge is available. The classroom are well maintained and clean. There is no smart projector or air conditioner but then too it gives positive atmosphere for study. The sport festival helds once in a year and it is played with students of different colleges but of same university. No social groups were run by the college campus.

The room is provided with one bad, fan, lights, cupboard and common washroom on a floor. The meal quality is average as it is not healthy and it contains majority of snacks item only. The hostel provide admission on basis on merit and available seat in the hostel. No I haven't reneted a room or PG as I am staying in college hostel only.

I hadn't applied for any other colleges because it is the best government colleges among all and my merit is good so I got admission directly in 1st round only. No as I mentioned this college is best among other so I got admission here directly so I didn't get any rejection. After 12th science, students have to fill ACPC form and their merit is calculated as per their PCM marks and after that there is mock round and other 3 rounds to select our liked colleges and as per our merit we get admission.

The bonding between students and faculties is very good as faculties are helping them in many ways. I like all the faculties as they are here to teach us and push us to achieve our targets. As I said, I like all because they motivate us in our difficulties and help us to solve it. The exams are conducted in 3 months intervals; 2 mid-term exams conducted by college and 2 final exam conducted by university (GTU). The exam is easy to crack if base is clear.

The gym is overall average as instruments are there but it is not maintained well and there is no trainer to guide the bodybuilders. Hostel timings are very strict as students have to enter before 10 PM. There are many hangouts places near by college; Vaaishnav Devi Temple, Law garden.
