BPPIMT is committed to the highest standards of educational and other provision for its students, and encourages students to provide the Institute with thoughtful and constructive feedback. Formal evaluations, together with informal comments and consultations, are used to make improvements to our course and other provisions, and to provide encouragement to staff where appropriate.
Course Curriculum Overview
The exam was a pretty balanced one.the give questions equally from both first and the second year.Maths alone consists of 100 marks which contains 50 questions of 1 mark each and 25 questions of 2 marks have 1/4th of negative marks.Physics and chem contains other 100 marks.The exam will be of two halves.Maths alone on one half and phy,chem on the other.
Placement Experience
The college provides various interships.Me being a first year student doesnt have much of an information but according to seniors college provides satisfactory internships.The job placement is average here.
College Events
Our college has many events happening throughout the year.elixir is among one of them and is the best one.Besides there are many mini events like techstorm where I participated in many games and robotics.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure here at BPPIMT is pretty much feasible.For BTech,which is a four year course comprises of 8 semesters.For the first sem they take around 60k including the library and other fees.the next sems are around 40k
Fees and Financial Aid
I being a non domicile of Kolkata havent got any kind of a scholarship.There are also seperate scholarships for students hailing from Bihar.so Biharis chiill maro.Also Some banks provides loans for the needy students
Campus Life
The lab here at BPPIMT are a mixture of good and bad.the mechanical workshop is average,the chem lab is not so good,phy lab is better,computer labs are good. We here dont have a huge campus so cannot afford to play any outdoor games but there are carroms and TT
Alumni/Alumna
The faculty here at BPPIMT is quite good.They might not be the best one around but are student friendly which is the most important thing.The college contains 4 branches viz CSE,EE,IT,ECE.I being a CSE student is very satisfied by the faculty.The alumni network is also great.we get to know so much from the and the seniors are also helpful as well
Admission
I got admitted here by giving the WEBJEE exam.You can also take admission through your JEE Mains marks.At first you being a student must take regular response when will the exam be held.after getting the date of exam,we have to fill the form.The form requires our birthdates and 10/12 marks.after giving exam you would be given the option to select the college to which you are being selected and called for taking admission.
