Review of SKIT Jaipur- by Jai Agrawal

College management is very good and passionate over imparting a quality education to all its students, in a very disciplined environment. Huge amounts have been spent to build a great infrastructure of building, labs and sports facilities. Hiring well qualified teachers is again college's area of focus.

Curriculum is set by RTU, which is pretty outdated. Exams also conducted by RTU, which still need lots of improvement. Though periodic upgradations are made by RTU as per latest trends in market, but the quality of syllabus set by them is not up to the mark.

Placements are provided mainly in IT giant companies, along with few local companies in Core Branches. Sometimes there are big recruiters too, but they take only limited people. College does provide assistance in internships, but there hardly are ones giving stipend. My training was at Kota Thermal Station and Indian Railways Jaipur Workshop, with zero stipend.

All major Indian festivals celebrated along with a Mega College fest in Feb end. On teachers Day, a multi event cultural day is celebrated, which comprises of dance, music, drama, poetry etc. Cultural competitions organized throughout the year.

Fee structure is set by Rajasthan Technical University, which is feasible as compared to other Universities across India. Though they increase the fees by ?5000 on an yearly basis, which is somewhat unjustful.

Loan facility not offered by college. One has to reach out banks for the same. Scholarships are given as per RTU norms, where the tuition fees is charged at very subsidized rates for economically poor background people.

College provides ample opportunities for people interested in Extra Curricular activities. Sports facilities again very good with high quality infrastructure. Labs again are world class, with all the needed equipments.

No Hostel Accomodation opted.Though people who took that, told that hostels are somewhat clean and the mess cooks good and hygenic food. Though the prices are comparatively high which can be bit lowerer.

College has a good Alumni network along with a well working portal. Regular Alumni meets are organized in various parts of country, to gather up the well settled alumnus. College lays a strong focus upon building a strong Alumni network.

Was admitted through Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test, through Merit list followed by councelling, in Mechanical Engineering Branch. College being top seeded in Rajasthan after MNIT and JECRC, only students with good marks are considered for admission.

Faculty is top class. High degree holders passing out from reputed institutions are selected after rigorous interviews and selection procedure. Focus is laid upon communication and internal marks distribution by faculties is strict following all regulations.
