GJU Hisar : Pros and Cons

I like programming therefore I choose btech CSE. But I have to study the subjects like EVS, BEE , Chemistry and Indian constitution which aren't related to my course at any point These subjects exams are also tough.

The campus placement is quite low here. Therefore the students have get the internetship by themselves and and also get off campus placement. About 5% students get campus placement No big companies like google and amazon visits here. My plans are to get internship somewhere then do masters and then do job.

•TUTION FEE: The yearly fee for btech is 80600. You have pay 42350 for first simister and pay 38250 for another simister. For SC/ST : you have to pay only 2600 for first simister and about 2000 for next one. For Tution fee waiver(TFW) category students: You have to pay 18000 for first simister and maybe 15000 for another one. (If you belong to SC/ST then for rest of your fee other than 2600 , you have apply to a scholarship on harchattarvratti site and after you fill the form the remaining fee will come in your bank account then you have to submit it to University) • HOSTEL FEE: You have to pay 12800 for hostel room. Mess charges will be according to your diet. eg, for lunch and dinner 40 rs. Per diet and for breakfast according to your items like 15 rs. For 1 prantha and 10 for chai and 10 for curd. Note: the course fees will be same for all btech courses and hostel fees will be same for every student.

The a annual festival named Youth festival helds every year. no monthly festivals helds You can get a great variety of books in the library as the library is so good. Good sports facilities here. There's also NCC and NSS in University. Overall my experience in this university is nice.

The new hostels which are given to first year student are nice. The mess food is okay. But the necessary diets are only 10. Therefore you can eat wherever you want like in another hostels mess(there are 4 boys hostel here) and there also some rasoi ghar nearby university so u can eat there's as well. Registration process: You have to fill the form online and submit the printout to your department. If you get your name in the list then you have to fill the form and you get the hostel room There will be 5 people in 4 persons room.

I get this college in my first councelling which is HSTES. but I want YMCA faridabad. But I wasn't getting CSE there so, I choose CSE here because this university is close to my home also. You have to give JEE mains for entering the HSTES councelling. Admission process: Firstly I apply for HSTES councelling through which I get CSE in Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology in 1st round. Then I attend the councelling fill the fees and get admission.

The faculty is quite nice here and ratio is about 1:40 here. The teaching staff is quite experienced and we can approach the easily they helps the students way too much But for some subjects you have to do most of study the study by yourself. I especially like Dr. Naresh ( mathematics) because there teaching style is way too much good There isn't any whom I don't like because most of the faculty is nice with me. Some of exams are quite tough like EVS , BEE . Most of the students fails in mathematics in first simister.

The boys hostel are open the all night The girls hostel will be closed around 6 O'clock in the evening. The reading hostel which is just behind the library is open upto 2 O'clock in the morning. The university gates are open all night. There isn't any any quite famous place inside or outside the university.
