Again Jadavpur university provides something you gotta love about,dean scholarship, alumni association scholarship,FFE(40000/YEAR),zindal, there are other scholarship also for SC and ST students,I had CBSE BOARD percentage of 88 and WBJEE rank 1659 ,i was not eligible for FFE because i didn't satisfy the first criterion which is above 90%in CBSE Board, although i had satisfied 2nd criterion which is rank under 2000 in wbjee

This college is paradise for those interested in lab works and research work,as this has now a special research department near main campus and many have excelled from here placing paradigm, talking about sports this is again a heaven to cricket and football lovers,CAB cricket ground is in the interior of salt lake campus where ipl practice by KKR is eye-catching, Syed mustak ali trophy is also played here you can watch yuvraj dhoni gambhir and many Indian cricketing legends like vvs laxam and ganguly, you can play also on this ground as ARENA has CAB as venue

Hostel is close to college campus and is a place of great comfort, although main campus hostel has many flaws like ragging and accommodation but 2nd campus hostel is best to reside Room rent is 25rupees/month

I appeared for WBJEE in 2017 ,my rank was 1659 and rank upto 2500may get your admission in recognised departments.I came for e-counseling and then spot round counselling and finally got admitted into construction engineering.

This feature is disappointing to non-bengalis,as most of the teachers favour only Bengali students and they are fully oriented to their progress,here you have to work hard more if you are not from bengal.Although all teachers are well qualified and they possess legendary teaching abilities.
