Beautiful college located in lonavala,pune

Not a great crowd overall. But college authorities try to their part unconditionally. If you live nearbly then it's a good choice for you but if you are from some far off place , you can consider other options as well.

The current course curriculum of 2015 pattern of Pune University which is quite updated. But still the syllabus is lacking in incorporating new learning techniques and methodologies. The exams structure consists of online computer based exams as well as pen paper theoretical exams.

Placement opportunities at best can be described as average. Most placements are provided on campus by training and placement cell. The major recuirters are Accenture Infosys and capgemini ,although some few core companies also visit the campus for placements.

Sinhgad karandak and surabhi are the main cultural festivals celebrated in the sinhgad group of colleges. The cultural event is one of a type inviting entusiasts from all over Pune. All the campuses have good sporting infrastructure as well.

Fee structure is quite feasible as compared to other private engineering colleges. For B.E the per annum fee is about 92000 and if you stay in hostel it's 50000 additional rupees. If you are from Maharashtra and fall in reserved categories then you may get benefits of scholarship.

Plenty of scholarships are available for the students if they are in minority quota or reserved quota or if they fall in economically backward classes. However you don't get scholarships on merit basis.

Individual labs are maintained for each sepatrate subjects and most equipment and machines are in working condition. The college also has a central auditorium. The campus is lush green and full of students and staff.

Hostels mostly are in a shabby condition so it would be advisable to live outside the campus as you'll have the choice of having good and healthy food. If opting for hostel you'll get gym , medical and other facilities.

The seniors are helping if you approach them, but there is no forum or community for junior senior interaction. The alumni network is present but I found it to be of no real benefit. Some seniors have successfully incubated their start ups.

You can get admission on the basis of jee mains, mh-cet or directly by management quoata. First step is applying online to the dte Maharashtra followed by in person and documents verification at faciliation centres across mahrashtra. After that you can apply for college and branch preference on the website of dte. And finally you'll be allocated branch and college depending on your overall marks and catergory.

The college faculty is good overall. Some senior faculties are exceptionally good while some are quite average too. All in all you get a decent package of faculty. Some faculties are phds while most others are m.techs.
