Remarks
I can say it is a good college for any prospering student. They can experience it. This is maynot be best college in west bengal but i can proudly say that this college has given me a lot in sense of knowledge and experience.
Course Curriculum Overview
Among all the courses i think Computer science is too much interesting and it has good to study and i find the subject is too way much easier to understand than any other subject or stream in engineering background.
Placement Experience
The job oppurtunities is also good for cse department. The students are hired from tcs cts capgemini microsoft and this year by amazon. Also the college conducts several seminars on various topics likewise artificial intelligence, machine learning etc.
College Events
The college conducts various events like seminars on various upcoming or now a days good topics that help the students to know the subjects. Also the college conducts technical fest where students are interested to give protocol of any topic
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very much good i.e for computer science it is arround 3 to 4 lakhs all total. If any student has some financial problem then he or she can apply for scholarship or loan that the college itself arranges.
Fees and Financial Aid
My friend got loan from the college as his family can not afford the semester fees and he is also opted for scholarshio for his good educational details. Also there is a option for fee waiver so that discount can be applied.
Campus Life
There is also NSS activities goes on in this college. Online , indoor and outdoor gaming competitions are also held by the college authorities. The labs are well equiped. Especially belonging from cse department i can say that there is much good facilities in cse.
Hostel Facilities
I don't live in hostel. I live in salt lake sector 2 in a flat with 3 room mates. The transport system is very much good and i think there is no problem of connectivity of the college location to any other nearby place in kolkata.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes seniors play a vital role on any student's life as they guide them properly how to prepare for their interview by sharing their experience in this field. So yes they are helpful no doubt. Besides the seniors there are faculties who are very helpful.
Admission
By giving WBJEE. There are also several other process like management quota. But WBJEE exam entrance is the most relevant. After giving the exam students got rank according to their merit then they get admission in college.
Faculty
All the faculty members are supportive and helping. In any aspect of student's carrer they will help everytime. Even the training and placement department will also provide infos about latest placement. The cse department is good in this purpose.
