Remarks
Infrastructure is ok, Placement is about 50% on campus and study is same as other colleges and there are many extracurricular activities and sports are organised and there is no uniform. It feels like college. So, overall it is fine.
Course Curriculum Overview
Information technology is similar as Computer science but the difference is there are more subjects and activities are in CSE compare to IT but one thing is common that CSE and IT both branch works in IT companies. Exam are held in the gap of 6 months means in 4 yrs there are 8 semester and 16 mid semester.
Placement Experience
The placement department put their full efforts for the future of their Students.Many well known companies like TCS, WIPRO, KRITI etc comes to college for the recruitment almost 50-60% get their job on campus. No college didn't provide internship you have to find yourself but many companies give opportunity for internship just you have to give online exam as it helds twice a year. You can do internship from there.
College Events
In college there are many fest and events are organised it includes Sports, Culture, Technical and many more. As it start from the Bihaan(freshers), Sharde(Saraswati puja), 3 sports fest, 2 cultural fest , Techtrix(tech event) and most of the important and awaited event "Regalia".
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is feasible as for b.tech the minimum amount spend for the any course is about 4-5 lakhs. In this college the fee is according to sem in odd sem is about 46k-47k and in even sem it's 41k including exam or library fee.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a scholarship provided by the college for the student who are domicile as well as in minority. They have to pay about 50k for the whole course. For loan you can apply from many bank which provides educational loan.
Campus Life
Labs are mostly based on the branch most of branches may have 4 or 5 subjects for lab. College organise sports events, Technical events or cultural events in which you can show your skills and talents from which you can get awards and certificates for the participation.
Hostel Facilities
There is no hostel in college but there are many other options as you can live in PG or other hostel or you can rent a flat near the college. As it is Kolkata so you can rent a flat with your friends which is less costly. It may cost you 5k-6k per month.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni of the college are very helpful they help us to get on the right path and aware about their mistakes and help us to not repeat the mistakes. If any recommendations required for the help they recommend themselve.
Admission
For admission, first give the WBJEE entrance exam or you can also apply through JEE exam after that you have to book a slot for seat in that slot arrange the college categories and branch according to your marks. Most important you have to select the college and branch first in which you want to take admission. There are total 3 rounds so you can wait untill then or if you got your college in any of the 3 round you have to go the college and apply for admission with the required documents and fee.
Faculty
Faculty of every department are different and Graduated from a well known University but there is only one problem with them is they prefer their language most of the time that gives problem to those who don't get it.
