Good College especially for Commerce

The positives I have already mentioned. The negatives would be the absence of hostel by college and a big auditorium. Also the placement cell could be made more strong so that students get placed more often.

The courses are good. The college is well established and has completed 50 years in 2017. The college is highly rated in commerce. Other streams are also good and have many bright students. The curriculum is CBCS of Delhi University. The college runs classes on Saturday Sunday for SOL students.

The college has a placement cell and various societies like Enactus and Finace Cell along with Internship opportunities from various companies based in Delhi and Gurgaon. There is also a placement drive done during March and various companies like Philips Wipro Paytm come to hire students. The stipend ranges from 3000- 8000 depending on the amount of work and qualification of students.

There are many talks and Seminars on various subjects and social issues organized throughout the year by the college association which invites learned guests to deliver their lecture. The various departments organize cultural fests in February and March. Also there are many competitions organized by cultural society on dance drama quiz slam poetry debate etc. The Annual Fest organized by Students Union is named Daastan which takes place in March.

It is feasible and less then 10000 yearly and the common range is between 6000- 8000. Also there is a exam fee of 500 rupees for each semester to give the exam So it is quite affordable for students with not so good economic background.

There are many scolarships for the weaker sections and economically backward students. Also there are many scolarships for the top performers and the winners of various co curricular activities which is given at the end of the year.

The sports facility is good. There is facility for football, lawn tennis , basketball, volleyball, TT, Cricket. The library is very spacious and there are books on most of the subjects and wide topics are covered. The labs are good and the equipments are well working. The computer lab is air conditioned.

The college does not provide hostels but there are many private flats and PG near the college. The monthly expenses for the students range from 8000-15000 depending upon the type of accommodation. The area and locality is good and the people are friendly.

The alumi netwok is good. Alumnus consists of Shoojit Sircar, Siddharth Malhotra, Bhuvan Bam. The seniors are helpful and guide the students from time to time in field of placements or career decisions they are always there to help.

Through my 12 board marks. You have to see the cutoffs for the course you want and apply accordingly. There is 3% cut in percentage for change in stream. The admission process was smooth and there were many student volunteers who helped me and resolved my doubts. The admission process took a day so if you are outstation student I will suggest you to stay at a relative's house if possible. Ensure that you have the latest character certificates and all the necessary original documents and their photocopy.

The faculty is good and many professors are PHD holders from DU as well as JNU and other foreign universities. The Ad- Hoc teachers are also good and well qualified. The department heads have many degrees as well as they have great amount of experience ranging from 15-20 years.
