Course Curriculum Overview
As the course ENGLISH Literature-was under Guwahati University it does need some adjustments in including topics which was relevant in todays generation. As most students go for their masters they need topics which was included in master courses so they can be more prepared if they want to persue NET and JRF
Fees and Financial Aid
7000+ first sem including admission but excluding examination fees which you have to pay to Guwahati University and from 2nd sem 4000 excluding examination fees. The fees structure might have changed a bit
Campus Life
Need some mending in the infrastructure but as I passed out like 5 years ago so maybe the construction has been completed. Technology wise it does need improvement and more well litted classes should be there
Admission
This college wasn't my first choice but due to financial issues I had to opt for this college. But through many sources i got to know that ENGLISH Department along with physchology has a good reputation among other departments
Faculty
The teachers were very approachable and helpful. They were friendly at the same time strict with their approach on education. I am specifically fond of our English Department HOD whose class we enjoyed the best as he discussed things in a more interactive manner rather than in a lecture manner
Night Life
The college doesn't provide Hostel facilities so we didn't enjoy any hostel Life in the college. But during the holidays the college field is being used to conducts programs or functions which we used to visit as students
