My genuine College Experience

1) I am from ECE branch. The reason I chose this was my interest in learning semiconductor and observing growing demand of semiconductor in India. 2) The college curriculum can't make you industry ready but it can teach you the basic understanding of what you'll do in electronics industry. 3) Teaching mehtods should be more practical and application based rather than jotting down theories in lectures. 4) Exams are held every 1.5 months of the semester including quizzes in between

Companies like Microsoft, J.P Morgan, Mckinsey, UBS, Goldman Sachs, American Express come for internship in our college. Various emerging startups like astrotalk and STGI aslo came for internship providing stipend around 30000 p/m.

PEC has a good placement record of over 70% students getting placement. my tution fees is 94,000 per sem, that makes 188000 per year. Registration fees and admission fees for 1st year was 40,000 INR. I aslo pay 90000 INR for yearly hostel and mess fees Categories student get a relief over tution fees. students from categories like SC, ST pay 94,000 per year with no hostel fees. College provides scholarship to the top 2 students from each branch and they dont have to pay any fees for that year

Famous Annual Fest is PECFEST, North India's largest fest of the year.Genreally conducted in Nov month of the year. Famous celebrities like Hardy Sandhu, Javed Ali and Salim Merchant have performed here. We have a college library of 2 floors and anyone with collegeid card can access the book. Most of the classes have smartboard and AC but some of it are still old Annual Athletics meet are held every year for students to participate and show their athletisicm. The club and society culture in the college is the best part.

Has a mess and hostel provides single room to everyone. we have a common room with games like fooseball and pool table Meal Quality is okayish and menu is fixed. Hostel fees is 75000 per year for the room and 3000 per month for mess meal separate. For PG the preffered locations are Sec-11, Nayagaon, Sec-15 nearby the college

1) I applied for NIT Jalandhar and I was getting IT stream there. I chose this college considering its gigantic and relevant alumni network. The alumni of PEC are rocking the corporate sector. 2) I got a rejection for MNIT Jaipur Electrical Branch. Had I got that, I would have joined that 3) They accept students based upon JEE MAINS exam. I scored 98.4 percentile in JEE MAINS 2022 and achieved rank of 14704.

faculty to student ratio: 1:15 and faculty is not so engaging with the students The best professor I had was Dr. Simranjeet Singh, our analog and digital teacher. He was really inspiring and always ready to work for students. That person really has a different aura. There is no such person I didn't like but some of our teachers were very a bit careless about the syllabus completion We have 2 sets of exam per sem i.e mid sem and end-sem and the level of difficulty is moderate, we just need to study 4-5 prior to the exam

Only one College Gym with timings 5:30 am - 8:00 am and 5:30pm- 8:00pm, there is a market inside the college and nescafe cafeteria too. Boys hostel timings are 10:00pm and girls hostel timings are 8:00pm. Famous hangout places are pec market
