I've written everything genuinely, which I've faced during my tenure of 2018-2022. I'm an alumni of that college

Course Curriculum Overview

4

According to me, in pharma what is most important in academics is cology and drug knowledge, and subjects are relevant for real time experience as they provides knowledge to a pharmacist to run their own medical and serve in this field. Exams toughness is on 50-50, sometimes university revised the previous papers and sometimes they set a new one with hard difficulty level, so it's about luck.

Placement Experience

4

• For placements students can apply in mid of last year like nearby Jan, feb and then after having a commitment with companies they can join after course competition. • Aristo Pharma, Mankind, Himalya, pfizer, Ranbaxy etc • Mostly company offers basic roles in vast departments like production, QA, MR, etc and salary varies in between 2-4 LPA . • I'm sorry to say but only 20-30% got placed, rest of them needs to give a self push to their careers.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total Academic fees for an year - 96000 rs Out of which 70k is your tuition fees and rest 26k are for your registration in AKTU university and exam fees , lab fees etc. For 1st year I've opted hostel but I didn't liked the premises and atmosphere that's why I switched to flat outside, and that option results you beneficially as you can hold your expenses as you wish. Hostel fees for an year - 60k Which includes 3 time meal and evening refreshments like tea coffee. But according to me you can do much more in 60k living outside in a PG or Flat. About scholarships, you can't expect much because in our batch there were none, even for students who achieved 90+ percentages, they got only 5-10k discount in annual fee.

Campus Life

4

No such annual functions or festivals but they celebrate pharmacist day in a well organised way. As a mentioned earlier, libarary part is good enough, they've wide range of books available and yeah, librarian was an amazing guy. They also got fest and inter-college sports competitions like tug of war, kabaddi, basketball etc. Dept of pharmacy also runs a blood donation day, in which most of the students donates blood on a selected day.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel I won't say is value for money because I've been in there for an year and I didn't found it worth it. Rooms are not spacious. Food quality is not even valueable, as much money you are spending on it. Registration process is not complicated just you have to go to main office and ask for a hostel form and after fee payment you'll be allotted a room same day. I've rented a room in Alpha 2, best place to reside as a student, you got ready to eat food, you've many options for refreshments and cafe's.

Admission

There's no such exams for our college as it's a private one, but yeah I chooses this one over Sharda University as it's degree value is not as much as of a AKTU affilliated college. I've been to Sharda, passed the entrance exam and was offered a seat for fee of 1,60,000 per annum.

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio for a batch of like 1st year is 10 teachers for about 150 students and then as you proceeds for another year and subjects got changed then their are other staff members with specialization in that particular subjects. Faculties are good enough, we had Kamal sir for physical pharmaceutics and Sapna ma'am for colony and others also, they were helpful to clear and score good marks in final semesters And yes course curriculum is also relevant as 70% of the paper comes from the syllabus which we prepared from...!

Night Life

4

The college classes hits off at 4 pm and day commers leaves the premises, so hangout places are left only for hostelers and their are cafeteria, well equipped gyms and basketball court and many other options, and yeah all the boundaries are guarded so there's no safety leakage.

Other Applied Colleges

Sharda University | B.pharma

Value of degree is not that much as compared a government affiliated University like AKTU

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are average, not very high but some companies do visit every year. Students become eligible for placements from final year, mostly from 7th or 8th semester. Companies are not very big mostly local or mid level pharma companies come. Some roles offered are like production, quality control and marketing. Highest package is not very high, around 3-4 LPA and average package is around 2-2.5 LPA. Percentage of students getting placement is not very high, maybe around 40-50% approx. Many students prefer to go for higher studies or try off campus jobs. My plan after completing degree is to look for job in pharma field or maybe go for higher studies depending on opportunity. Overall placement is okay but needs improvement.

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is average, not very high but also not too bad. Students become eligible for campus placement from 7th semester. Some companies visit the college but not many big companies comes regularly. Companies like small pharma companies and local companies visit and offer roles like production, quality control and sales. The highest package is around 3–4 LPA and average package is about 2–2.5 LPA. Number of offers is also limited and not all students get placed. Around 30-40% students get placement from campus, rest students have to search job on their own or go for higher studies. College gives some support but not very strong placement help. Because of this, many students including me are planning for higher studies or preparing for competitive exams to get better opportunities. Overall placement is okay but need improvement.
