Education in Rural Area

My college is well established college and provides education in rural area. It is no. 1 college in that region with 100km radius. Despite of the campus in rural area, there is almost all facilities available in the college which makes students of hostel to live comfortably.

The course curriculum is well defined and is fully covered during studies. Along with this there are more subjects introduced which helps to improve communication skills and management skills. There are 2 minor exams conducted one by one in almost every month. After that a Major Exam is conducted and all the marks are counted for the final evaluation. Thus students have to well prepared for the 2 minor exams to maintain good CGPA.

The placement cell making efforts day by day to improve the placement scenario of the college. From last 2 years, the placement is getting very much improved. No, my college doesn't provide any type of internship.

TechFest :- It is celebrated every year with the show of technology. A no. of students participated in this event and they make projects and also held compitions between them. Madhuram :- A cultural Festival in which every state's student shows his/her state's culture by dancing or by wearing clothes.

The fee structure is very much feasible. The college comes under central government so the fees is very less as compared to private colleges in that region. Also the charges of the hostel are very less.

Our College provides Merit Scholarship to top 5% students who score maximum marks in the exams. Also college provides free education to SC/ST students. There is also a scholarship which is only for the minority caste like Sikhs, Jain, Muslims etc.

Labs are well equipped with almost all the requirements according to syllabus. However according to latest technology, the labs are not equipped with so much facilities. There is Student Activity Centre in our college in which students plays sports like Squash, Badminton. There are all facilities to play all games in the campus. Proper grounds are available in the campus.

Alumnis of our colleges are well settled in big companies and in good positions. They also helps to the students of the campus by giving expert lectures whenever they invited by the college. They also helps students to provide internship in their companies.

After 10th, I appeared for SET (entrance exam) and got admission in Diploma. The duration of Diploma is 3 years. After that I again appeared for SET and got admission in B.E. 2nd year as a lateral entry.

The faculty of the college is very talented and experienced. They all are Central Government Employees so the level of knowledge they have can never find easily. Also the friendly behaviour of the faculty makes easy to discuss doubts with them.
